Heavenly Box Hill Barn

Summary:

Located on a large farm, relax at this beautifully converted barn whilst enjoying the magnificent sweeping views across the countryside. This is a truly special place to get away from it all. Perfect for friends getaways and families, this spacious barn has two generous seating areas that lead out onto an outdoor seating area. Enjoy a barbecue for dinner followed by some stargazing around the fire pit. In winter, underfloor heating and log burner will keep you cosy. The views are all year round!



The Space:

This light filled, spacious barn spreads over three levels. The lower ground floor with underfloor heating, is home to a large sitting room / dining room with sliding doors that open out on to the patio. In the lounge, big comfortable sofas gather around a log burning stove - perfect for cosy evenings, there is also a television and a dining table that seats 8. This room is lined with floor to ceiling windows on two sides, giving the opportunity to enjoy the amazing views across the countryside.



The ground floor is home to a fully equipped kitchen, including washer / dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer and coffee machine.

Leading away from the kitchen are three bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom includes a bath. The second bedroom, also a double, has a shower room ensuite. The third is a twin, again with shower room ensuite. Each bedroom has plenty of storage space for clothes in wardrobes.



The second lounge area can be found on the first floor mezzanine level and is perfect spot to read a book or enjoy a little practice on the piano.



Outside there is a patio with outdoor furniture and a bbq. To the left of the barn is a field to enjoy, and even includes a fire pit for toasting marshmallows on dreamy summer nights. A private driveway has plenty of space for car parking.



The barn is located on a forty one acre farm of beautiful pasture land and is a special place to visit all year round, whatever the weather. Located in the village of Box in Wiltshire, the farm is just a couple of miles from the lovely town of Corsham. Within easy reach of the Cotswolds, the city of bath and numerous other National Trust and English Heritage sites and venues. It is the ideal base for sightseeing and adventures.

Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the entire barn, patio and adjoining field for the duration of your stay.

This property is situated in a rural location near the village of Box, Wiltshire. It’s a 15 drive to the UNESCO city of Bath.



Getting Around:

A car is the best way of visiting the nearby city of Bath and enjoying visits to the beautiful villages surrounding the property.



Other Things to Note:

The barn is nestled within the land of a working biodynamic farm that supports the natural re-wilding of the surrounding pastures.

We welcome well two behaved dogs at the property, please contact us with information about the dogs prior to booking.

There is a charge of £35 per dog that stays with us.

We can provide one travel cot and high chair upon request.
