“The cottage was pristine, we felt like we were the first guests. It is a spacious, comfortable and stylish property and the owner’s attention to detail is second to none. Large beds and great showers. Very quiet at night so we slept well. Large private garden. Warcop is a lovely village with good walks along the river & streams. The Chamley Arms around the corner was very welcoming but we just missed out on being able to eat there as they are starting serving meals in July. However we……

“We have had an amazing weekend in the Barebones cabin. We took our 11 year old and 1 year old and both of them loved it. There was so much to explore, a little playground and a rope swing which kept both of them happy, not to mention some muddy puddles near the stream for plodding about in wellies. The views of the lake from the front of the cabin were beautiful - each of the 6 cabins are angled so that they feel private but each have a gorgeous view. The photos of the interior of the cabin……

“We fell in love with this property and wish we could have extended our stay for at least a few more days, but we had other plans to move on to. The beautiful home is set upon a hill with amazing views of the countryside. We were able to really disconnect, and traveled to some local places to sightsee within nature, and into town for some dinner (plenty of options in the neighboring villages). The house had everything possible that you could need, to feel comfortable and at home. Loved that you……
