- Located on beautiful Horseshoe Lake, these cabins are the perfect getaway. Sit on the enclosed shared front porch and enjoy a cup of coffee as you watch the wildlife on the lake. Horseshoe Bar & Grill is located on the other side of the lake where you can grab some great food and drinks. Only a few miles away. This is ONE building, with TWO SEPARATE ROOMS/CABINS. The Labrador Room is a one queen bed cabin (sleeps 2) while the Mallard Room has two full beds (sleeps 4).

Great overnight spot
This place is an excellent get away in Southern Illinois. Adjacent to a small lake good for kayaking and bird hunting. Recent updated in a duck hunting theme. Really nice and comfortable, both inside and on the screened in patio.

Home away from home
Quiet place to stay. Comfortable bed. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be back. Nice to actually have a good cup of coffee without taking your own personal coffee pot.

Pretty, secluded location. The pictures may be deceiving to some, but we stayed with 4 people and there was plenty of room. Communication was super easy with host, very responsive. Cabin was supplied with many amenities for cooking and just basic stay needs. Host pretty thought of everything.

Peaceful retreat
We wanted to get away for a few days to relax. This little cabin was the perfect spot and only a few miles into Missouri. The hosts were very attentive, if we needed anything. The Horseshoe Bar and Grill was so good and everyone was so kind. We will definitely be back.
