“The staff are wonderful. The elevator & hallways could be kept cleaner. The breakfast was hot, lots of variety & the breakfast area was clean. Daily housekeeping has to be requested. The room was clean, but the hotel shows some age. I do not think it was a $200 a night hotel, but I had to stay there due to a family event so that’s what I had to pay. ”

We were on the side of the Interstate and there was some road noise, but we had a sound machine so we were fine. The check-in was fast and friendly. The pool was not open yet, bummer! “It was a cut and dry stop, but the Non-Smoking room had a musty smoke smell as if it was at one point a smoking room. We aired out the room and slept fine but it took a bit to get used to the smell.”

“I didn’t stay. After seeing 2 of the rooms and noticing how terrible they smelled and how dirty they were I never checked in. The hotel showed a 7.4 on the Expedia site but that hotel should not have even been a zero. I will dispute the “no show” charge if it appears on my credit card bill.”

“AVOID AT ALL COSTS! First, the man in front of me had to hand over a $100 bill at check in for the security deposit. Then, when I checked in through Expedia, they swiped my card and actually deducted $80 from my account (I use Expedia all the time and never is an amount deducted). The desk attendant assured me I’d have it back the next day. Now, the amount is no longer pending…it’s processed and I’ve been told it could be more than a week before it’s returned! They took it instantly but……

“Needed a little get-away not too far from home. This little cottage is perfect in so many ways. It's in a quiet, private neighborhood. Parking is convenient with circular drive. Don't skip the history of the area and home in the welcome notebook. We fell in love with the Crab Orchard Stone on the house. Ended up going to a stone yard and getting some scrap pieces for our garden at home! The cabin has everything you need for a couple of days. Very comfy common area with big TV, nice views out the……
