  • Nestled amongst the snow gums along the Alpine Way, Ecocrackenback offers a peaceful alpine escape within the stunning Crackenback Valley. These eco-sustainable chalets provide the perfect base to relax and explore everything the Snowy Mountains region has to offer.
    Designed with nature in mind, each chalet features cross-ventilated living spaces, raked ceilings with fans, abundant natural light, polished concrete heated floors, and a clean-heat ethanol fireplace for cosy winter evenings.
    Enjoy the tranquil rural setting from the large floor-to-ceiling windows or unwind on the private deck complete with Weber BBQ and outdoor dining area during the warmer months.
    Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Jindabyne, 20 minutes to Thredbo, and 10 minutes to the Ski Tube for Perisher access, Ecocrackenback is ideally positioned for year-round adventure.
    The chalet comfortably accommodates a family of four and includes:
    • Fully equipped kitchen with convection microwave/grill & double hotplates
    • Smart TV & WiFi
    • Heated drying rack for ski gear
    • Instantaneous gas hot water
    • Communal laundry facilities
    Sustainability features include rainwater collection, solar panels, double-glazed windows, insulated walls and ceilings, recycling facilities, and an on-site worm farm system.

It was amazing, beautiful and cozy. Heated floors are a Godsend after a day at the snow. Separate cabins are excellent, especially with kids who are a bit noisy. A beautiful and quiet place to stay within 20min of ski field and Jindabyne shops

Awesome place to stay in close to the slopes

This is a beautiful little chalet to stay in. Very clean, easy check in, nice and quiet. We were greeted by a few joeys when we arrived which was lovely to see. The heated floor is awesome especially coming from the snows. Will definitely come back and recommend this place to family and friends.

Beautiful high country retreat

Property was great. Very warm and easy to live in for the 5 days we stayed there. Kids enjoyed exploring the property and schnapps distillery next door, a bonus.

Clean and modern with nature on your doorstep

We had a great time whilst at ecocrackenback. Nice private cabins with very comfortable facilities. Nice balance between seclusion and access to Jindabyne and the alpine activities. Had a really good time and the site manages were very welcoming and informative. Thanks for a great stay!
