「Loved the house, it was fully stocked. Enjoyed hanging out by the fireplace with family. Cooked with ease, I didn't have to search for any cooking apparatus. When we went out to eat we went to Aroma Thyme Bistro and Gaby's. Jeff communicated really well with me. I would definetley rent again, and don't forget to visit Sam's Point.」

「Very nice little cabin for a weekend away. Hot tub was nice to use after a day of hiking. The kitchen had the essentials (no seraded knives, so bring that if you’re cutting anything). I slept in the loft and the bed was comfortable. The ladder rungs are rounded and not flat so those hurt my feet going up - wearing some rubber soled slippers could alleviate that but I didn’t bring those. The hosts were great at communicating. 」

「The house was very clean and well appointed. Internet was great, and the bed was so comfortable. We met Eric, our host, who gave us invaluable info about a hike/waterfall nearby. The baseboard heat worked well, and there were plenty of pillows and two warm comforters. The jugs of bottled water were appreciated. There was a big grassy area for the dogs to romp. We spent the day at Minnewaska Preserve, only about 12 minutes away.」

「The best parts of Grandma's cottage were the record player and records, the binder of 1993 Gourmet magazines (my favorite year), the very detailed labeling of everything in the kitchen which made preparing meals a breeze, the comfortable beds, the fact that it really felt like we had traveled back in time to Grandma's house AND the fact that it smelled fresh and clean and not fusty like some Grandma's houses. 「This is a great place to stay if you're going to Minnewaska State Park or the Mohonk Preserve, both of which are just a 15 minute drive away. The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed for a five night stay.
