THE SPACE

Spread over three floors, the chalet opens onto a bright open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with floor-to-ceiling windows and direct access to the terrace. The decor pairs alpine warmth with modern comfort: a large L-shaped sofa by the wood-burning fireplace, a smart TV, a big coffee table for board games, and mountain views from every seat.



KITCHEN AND DINING

The fully equipped kitchen is set up for cooking for a full house: oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, and a complete set of pots, pans, plates, glasses and cutlery. Ample counter space means several people can cook at once. The dining table seats 8, and a second table for 8 on the terrace is ready for meals outdoors.



GAME ROOM

On the lower floor, rustic stone walls and traditional wooden ceilings frame the game room: a pool table, a foosball table, a dartboard, bar seating, and a snug sectional sofa with cushions. It gives teens and adults their own space in the evenings and is the place to be on a snowy or rainy afternoon.



TERRACE, HOT TUB AND GRILL

The terrace combines open and covered areas: a hot tub facing the mountains, sun loungers, a lounge seating area with table and chairs, an Ofyr grill for BBQ evenings, and an al fresco dining table for 8. Sunsets over the Rhone Valley with the Matterhorn on the horizon are the highlight of any stay.

HOT TUB DETAILS

Hot tub use is included free of charge for stays of 4 nights or more. For stays of 3 nights or fewer, it is available as an optional extra of CHF 250, which covers electricity and maintenance and is arranged and paid through Vrbo. Please let us know at least one week before arrival if you plan to use it, so it can be prepared. It can take extra time to reach full temperature after servicing, especially on arrival day, so we recommend planning your first soak for the second night.

The chalet sits on the sunny plateau of Crans-Montana, one of Switzerland's most popular alpine resorts, known for its sunshine, panoramic views and year-round activities. In winter, you have ski slopes, snow parks, cross-country trails and family-friendly snow activities on the doorstep. In summer, the same mountains offer hiking, mountain biking, paragliding and lakeside walks, and the resort is also known for its golf courses, wellness experiences, restaurants and seasonal events. The wider Valais region adds charming alpine villages, glacier scenery and vineyards, all within an easy drive.

GETTING AROUND

We strongly recommend arriving by car, which gives you the freedom to explore the Valais region at your own pace. The chalet's garage has space for two cars, plus the EV charger.



GOOD TO KNOW

- No pets; unfortunately, the chalet is not suitable for animals

- No smoking indoors

- No parties or events

- In dry periods, local regulations may prohibit use of the Ofyr grill (a gas grill is provided instead) and heavy water use may be restricted

- The chalet is thoroughly cleaned after every stay
