Great Stay

We only stayed one night, but we loved the place! Would definitely stay here again. The place was clean, had everything we needed. The communal "living area" outside of the room itself was cool. It was great to have laundry. It would be a great place to have a few families traveling together stay in the same location, but have separate spaces.

Great location

Super convenient location for redwoods. Cute little town, very easily accessible to everything you need. Very responsive and accommodating hosts. Nothing to complain about here, just as advertised.

Perfect in every way

The entire space was exactly as described in the listing. The property is just a few blocks from the beach where we explored low tide, the park, and walked to dinner. It was easy to navigate, I greatly appreciate the secure entry and room.

Very clean, comfortable, and relaxing Crescent City Bungalow. All the amenities to have a home away from home.Excellent location for visiting the beach and beautiful Redwoods! Highly recommend!!

The space was clean and served our needs. "Steps to the Pacific Ocean" is rather misleading. It's at least a three-block walk and the beach looks nothing like it does in the featured photo. The building is on an ugly street corner near a freeway overpass, with a significant number of people wandering around who seem to be on drugs. Passed more than one sketchy RV on the way to the beach. I didn't feel entirely safe walking around after dark with my kids.

Perfect location to access coastal activities, north and south of Crescent City.

The apartment was clean, updated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this rental property.

Just a few blocks from restaurants and 3 grocery stores. In the same block as Redwoods HQ for asking questions. Close to Redwoods for scenic drives and hiking. Owner emailed ideas about things to do in the area. I was a little unsure about parking and access but it worked out fine. Street parking is on 2nd Street, it was never crowded. Door to units is on Hwy 101 side.

Redwoods and the beach

We needed a place to explore the Redwoods for a couple days on spring break, and this was a great spot! Plenty of room for two adults and two kids, close to the waterfront, and only 35 minutes from the big trees. Would stay again!

Great location and very clean rental. There was a slight odor in the unit, which may not bother most people — I’m just very sensitive to smells, and I think it might’ve come from the restaurant below. The bed was extremely comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep.The only challenge was the narrow staircase leading up to the unit. It wouldn’t be an issue for light travelers, but I had a lot of luggage since my next stop was for a month, so it took a few trips to get everything upstairs.

Exactly as described close to beach access

The apartment was clean and in the perfect location near the beach access and the best restaurant in town (brewery). We saved money by cooking some meals in the kitchen.

Redwoods visit

Central location in Crescent City - close to Redwood parks and Hiouchi. Great base for day trips around the area to the State and National parks as well as Southern Oregon!! Recommend Seaquake Brewery - less than a 10 min walk.

Enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed our stay, the bed was comfy and the condo was well stocked. My only complaint is that I think the floors could have used a good mopping. Other than the floors everything else was very clean.

The property was perfect for our family of 4. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, and it included everything we needed for our stay. I was even able to do my family’s laundry (2 Tide Pods provided) before our trip home!

I love staying in the starling upstairs apartment. I was here because it was close to the redwoods and the beach. The owner and the housekeeper were terrific. Everything was in tiptop shape and very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

More units than expected

There were more units than expected on the property and somehow our room was double booked. Sub unit was roomier, tho. Not the best part of town, but neighborhood was friendly. Easy drive to the Redwoods and beautiful ocean views. Enjoyed our stay .

Updated clean unit.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay, the check-in process was seamless, the unit was nicely updated and very clean. The queen bed was comfortable and the fan was nice to have. The unit included everything you could want, we would stay here again.
