Stay at Atomic Squirrel Lodge
We enjoyed our stay at this property! We had all the amenities of home. Some things we really liked included 1), Three parking spaces with easy access from the road. 2) Modern dual air-conditioning system. 3) Three spacious bedrooms downstairs.4) Two large balconies with fantastic view of the valley below. 5) Easy access to the town of Crestline. We highly recommend this property, and would stay there again!

Adequate space for my family during our stay. Nice view of the lake and centrally located to other things to do and see in the area. The kitchen is stocked with kitchenware. The bedrooms are a spacious.

Our new favorite getaway!
Just as pictured - maybe even better! It's all about that view.... large upper and lower decks with gorgeous views of Lake Gregory and beautiful oak trees. Greg is an A+++ host and the cabin is private, clean and spacious. Beds are very comfortable! Thank you Greg, for sharing your little piece of paradise with us- we cannot wait to escape the city for the mountains again soon. Atomic Squirrel is our new favorite place to unwind and spend some quality time with family and friends! We did not want to leave...

Wonderful property with picture-perfect decks
Loved this property because it was clean, smartly decorated, and had huge decks off living room and bedroom. Only downside is it is not very walkable to lake path or town (not bc of distance but bc streets are very narrow and winding so it doesn't feel safe.) Listing was not misleading but other maps might be!

Beautiful spot
We had a short but sweet stay at this cabin. It accommodated 4 single adults very well. Would definitely come back and stay longer. Greg was very forthright and accommodating regarding a power outage on the day of check out, check in was super easy. Improvements to consider are fixing the very sqeaky sliding doors, replace the missing screens from patio doors (it prevented letting the evening breeze from flowing into the middle bedroom, without potentially letting in unwanted critters), good thing it wasn't too hot. Was wanting to BBQ, but I guess I should not have assumed a cabin would have one. It met our needs for the time we were there. Thank you 😊

Rejuvenation!
The Atomic Squirrel Lodge was exactly what we needed after a couple of tough pandemic years. Super comfortable, quiet and with a beautiful view, we were able to relax and rejuvenate. It was well appointed with everything you might need with ample room to gather together and room for personal space. While we only ventured out to visit the grocery store and for a couple of meals, we were impressed by the wealth of activities at Lake Gregory, the friendly locals, delicious restaurant choices and well stocked supermarket. My husband and sister-in- law repeatedly declared they would come back to the Atomic Squirrel Lodge without hesitation, and I will be forever grateful for a chance to find calm and peace. Thanks, Greg!!

The view from the porch does not disappoint. Centrally located to everything in town - the open floor plan gave everyone the space to they needed and bedrooms were nicely sized. The place was spotless and made for a great weekend getaway.

Comfortable, relaxing trip!
The house had a very welcoming and comfortable vibe with cozy furnishing. The view of the lake was breathtaking and my family and I loved it! There were lots of essentials provided, like shampoo, body wash, hair dryers, towels, etc., and the entire house was very clean and organized. Would definitely return for a second time!

Perfect Weekend Getaway
The Atomic Squirrel was even more charming and beautiful in real life than in pictures. The house is LOVELY, I’m sad it’s not mine 😂 The view is beautiful and relaxing. It’s a very short drive to the main entrance to Lake Gregory. Highly recommend!!! I can’t wait to visit again ♥️

Wonderful Home away from Home
My family and I had a wonderful extended weekend at Greg's cabin. The pictures do not do it justice. The view is fantastic, the home is beautiful, and the town is a 5 min drive away. Greg was a great host. Super responsive and kind. The newly installed AC came in handy and the various board games and fantastic Wifi made our stay comfortable and fun. My girlfriend and I were able to work on the Friday that we were there without connection issues. Overall it was a fantastic stay and we will be back in the near future.

PERFECT GETAWAY
This house is everything you need and more! The views from the balcony alone will make you forget all of your daily stresses. The drive and the area is perfectly scenic and full of beautiful nature. The bedrooms are good sized and the beds are very comfortable. Greg is an incredible host! He noticed (from my email address) that I love stars and had a telescope waiting for stargazing. Attention to detail like that is so nice in a host. I cannot thank him enough for the perfect getaway and cannot wait to book again!!!

The house is spacious, with a simple and cozy decoration. The house has everything one might need for a few days getaway. In the pantry there was sugar, coffee, tea, spices, oil, vinegar... In the fridge there were beers, combucha, butter, jam... We would return delighted to escape from the city

Great lake view location
This is the perfect place if you just want to rest, sit on the deck and enjoy a beer. We enjoyed mornings on the top deck and evenings on the bottom deck. The owner is easily reachable and very accommodating. Almost everything you need is there. There is a grocery store near by for literally all your needs. We enjoyed the mountain breeze and walks around the lake, great place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Only complaint is that the staircase slats were wider than the ones I’ve seen before, it could be because it’s an older house, but my one year old toddler could fit through them so we had to be super vigilant in watching him. I wouldn’t recommend for other families with small kids.

Scenic view from an immaculate home
This home is lovely and very well stocked with the essentials for cooking at home. The view is breathtaking. The photos don't do it justice, and the small town and surrounding areas were lovely. We took scenics drives, hiked, ate outside a couple of times in the area, and enjoyed spending time at the house cooking and playing board games. The house is immaculate. We will definitely entertain a return trip.
