「The host was welcoming from the first communication, the home was clean, spacious and very well provisioned. The kitchen was great and we were able to have our children join us for dinner with plenty of room at the dining table and toys for our grandson. Extremely comfortable beds and super quiet. Will definitely stay again.」

「The door to the backyard was not functioning. That is a bungalow (separated room from the main building) which has no gas heater, kitchen facilities, no fly screen or security door. As it’s not under the main roof, it’s very inconvenient when it’s raining. One of the bedrooms has two bathrooms and toilet. Another bedroom has no toilet or bathroom attach to it. It’s an old building with a very nice view of Lake Wendouree. Located in one of the upmarket suburbs of Ballarat. It is good for...

「The host is very deceptive, it is advertised to be a 4 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms, it's a 3 bedroom and one bedroom is leased to a tenant. Only 2 bedrooms available with only bathroom available is an ensuite. Certainly not enough beds for the 6 people booking. I had to find other accommodation at premium rate due to the deception. Host unapologetic and am extremely disappointed with the whole experience. Would not recommend at all. 」

Only drawback was locating the entrance as it is on the next street, but after that we were in luxurious heaven! We will be back.」

「Check in was very easy but we had a problem with our billing invoice that was unresolved by the time we left. We changed the dates of our stay and feel we were charged for six nights rather than five. Host was unable to resolve the issue.House was spacious with a lovely sitting room in the back. The yard was unkept and outdoorfurniture was too dirty to sit on. The inside of the house could have been cleaner. The beds were not comfortable and the bedrooms were small. No dryer made washing and...

「The positives: good location for access to Daylesford while still retaining a rural feel, cute tiny home, comfy loft bed, nice property although we didn’t get to see it in its full splendour as it was winter, friendly host, and easy check in. The compost toilet was not too bad, and didn’t smell. What could have been better: some things were not replenished prior to our stay such as dishwashing liquid and matches to build a fire, so our plans for s’mores was a bust. We didn’t bother asking the...
