“Check in was very easy but we had a problem with our billing invoice that was unresolved by the time we left. We changed the dates of our stay and feel we were charged for six nights rather than five. Host was unable to resolve the issue.House was spacious with a lovely sitting room in the back. The yard was unkept and outdoorfurniture was too dirty to sit on. The inside of the house could have been cleaner. The beds were not comfortable and the bedrooms were small. No dryer made washing and……

“Photos are not accurate. Security is terrible. No back fence just temporary fence that was not even closed. Beds were uncomfortable and smoke detector battery was going flat and beeped all night. Slept for four hours. Kitchen cupboard missing doors, towels old small and scratchy and fridge smelt. Screen door had no screen. Only good thing was it wasn’t gross dirty. No mugs had to have tea in plastic cups ”

“Property manager was very accommodating to let us drop our luggage before the standard 3pm check in time.Property was very central and super close to Lake Wendouree.However:-Dirty towel and dirty black rug was left behind in the bathroom from previous guest.Room no. 3 had a pungent fishy/ salty smell (i guessed it could have been dirty cloth from the cleaner, used to wiped down the room with).There was a bucket in the laundry trough with dirty sheets soaking.Room no. 1 had bedsheets with hair……

“Haddie is a beautiful property with period character. It is very comfortable and has been stylishly decorated, including hand-crafted tables. The proximity to the lake is a bonus. ”

“The host is very deceptive, it is advertised to be a 4 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms, it's a 3 bedroom and one bedroom is leased to a tenant. Only 2 bedrooms available with only bathroom available is an ensuite. Certainly not enough beds for the 6 people booking. I had to find other accommodation at premium rate due to the deception. Host unapologetic and am extremely disappointed with the whole experience. Would not recommend at all. ”

“This is one of the best properties I have booked for some time and definitely the best in Clunes! Clean, well renovated, so close to everything, we enjoyed our stay immensely. Only drawback was locating the entrance as it is on the next street, but after that we were in luxurious heaven! We will be back.”
