My 10yr old Son is a WW2 enthusiast and in his own words "an amazing hotel with some really interesting relics, the room was fantastic and looked like a 1940s bedroom, would definitely stay again". “Les propriétaires du gite sont au petits soins même quand on arrive vers 22h. Tout est impeccable avec de bonnes choses à manger et beaucoup de petits plus. Je vais revenir dans ce gîte dès que j aurais à travailler près de Cherbourg. Je recommande vivement.”

“Located in the center of Carentan across from the bahnhof, this hotel is easy to find. Parking is available in back or on the street. The room we stayed in #11, has no interior curtains. To have privacy, you close the outdoor shutters and lock them, the close the windows. No electric outlets in the bathroom or 2nd room where 2 single beds are located. Rooms are clean, bed was firm. ”
