This location couldn’t be better for relaxing, unwinding and leaving the stresses of everyday life behind.
The apartment is furnished to a good standard, and offers contemporary, cosy and inviting holiday accommodation, specifically designed for a couple with a welcoming living room with a cosy sofa. Crieff holds regular events all year round with a monthly farmers market, Highland Games, a traditional Scottish music festival and the very popular Drovers Tryst Walking Festival. Close by are some excellent tourist attractions, including The Famous Grouse whisky distillery which offers tours and sampling, Innerpeffry Library (Scotland’s oldest free lending library), and Drummond Gardens, one of the finest formal gardens in Europe, dating back to the 1700’s. The gardens were used as a location for the epic TV series ‘Outlander’, and for fans of the series there are lots of historic places to visit in the area used for the filming of this series.
For days out, a visit to Stirling is just over half an hour’s drive away and is well worth a visit, with its historic castle, Wallace Monument and Bannockburn Visitor Centre, shopping centre and a great selection of places to eat.
