Service was slow at breakfast & at the bar. Tried to charge for accommodation twice on check out. When it was already paid. Feels a little tired in places. Food was ok. Not fantastic but the price was reasonable for what you get. Overall it was a nice stay with great facilities for families

The hotel had a conference booked during our stay and sadly catered to them at the cost of the hotel residents. We had asked at reception where we could get lunch and were directed to one of the eateries only to find it closed. On returning to reception the same receptionist didn't seemed to care and said she didn’t know it was closed. On speaking to the duty manager say gave the reason that apparently due to the number of staff that were not able to cope with the guests and the conference attendees at the same time. Also we had also found the lodges we had to be in a poor state with windows not able to be securely shut and looked and pathway leading to them very poorly lit, all in all needing a lot of TLC.

Booked two rooms but only one available on check in. Offered us three option of smaller rooms before the fourth suggestion was accepted. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout.

All the staff were amazing, from the receptionists to the cleaners, waiters and staff doing the activities. The hotel was immaculate, staff were so friendly and helpful, food was amazing and beds super comfy and clean.

Excellent place, but!

Reception was good, room was good apart from the view of the roof right outside the window. Liked the options for dining though never got the chance to enjoy it after the first late lunch on arrival. My wife was ill with food poisoning! I was ok but i had a different meal. She spent the rest of the day and night sick in bed. We asked if we could have a refund for the second night as I needed to take her home. The reception were great and were happy to refund. Unfortunately it hasnt happened. They did put £103.96 into our bank, but had already taken £100 for the card and purchases plus £47.46 for the lunch, then took another £147.46 from our card. We are now 7 days, the 100 and the 46 have now gone so all is square but no refund for the second night.

The Crieff Hydro is a lovely setting and we loved the pool and Victorian baths. The breakfast was fantastic and a wonderful breakfast manager Lynn went out of her way to help my disabled partner. Restaurant choices in the evening were limited and we ended up eating in East twice as there were no other restaurants available - it was good but pricey and not the kind of food you want to eat two nights in a row. Bookings etc supposed to be on an App which was not working properly. My 25 year old son was keen on doing some activities but there was no availability. I think they cater for large groups with prebookings. The Secret bar was a special experience.
