“The cabin was just great. It was quiet and peaceful. The actual cabin had everything you need. The lake is just down the way and there is a dock where you can go out on the lake if you want. I hope to be able to go back next year. Beautiful place!”

“They switched the property. They moved us to a 4plex. The room above was noisy and our entrance was at the bottom of a steep hill. The mattress had a rise in the middle so you felt like you were struggling to stay on the bed. We were requested to wash a load of towels and take out the trash.”

“Short Way Home was exactly as described, if not better. It had everything we needed and more. The owners were wonderful and checked in on us. My 9 year old loved neighborhood. We saw rabbits and squirrels each morning :) If we are in the area again, we would definitely stay again.”

“We had an incredible stay! We brought my parents, two adult children, and one teen. The main level was perfect for my parents and the rest of us stayed upstairs. The kids (adult and child) loved the game table! It got lots of use! It was a bit warm upstairs so we bought fans to help with that. The place was super clean and comfy!! ”

It was nice to have our own parking spot too. The views of Cincinnati were amazing! The host leaves things you may need like plenty of blankets, soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Even laundry detergent. For our first time in a VRBO, it was a fantastic first impression. ”

“The pictures in the listing accurately represent the property. It was very clean and well decorated. As others mentioned, it is close to the train track, but there are sound machines in both bedrooms that mask the train noises. The whole house was well stocked. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“Communication with host was great, very responsive as VRBO never sent any check in or check out instructions. Quiet street, easy to get to, pool was very nice and relaxing. Would recommend to anyone.”
