Excellent B&B near Bayeux

Really amazing small manor that is out in the country and quiet but really only a short drive from Bayeux. The hospitality and breakfast served was great. I would highly recommend Manoir de Conjon for anyone needing a base place to stay in Normandy.

What can we say, the most amazing stay at Manoir de Conjon. The most beautiful property, it felt like home. Isabelle is excellent, really friendly and accommodating. She makes you feel at home and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is outstanding. We do not want to leave and would love to return for another short break!

Isabel is the best host ever! The property is beautiful and well-maintained. If you have a car, this is the place to stay, and it’s only ten minutes from Bayeux. Breakfast each morning is wonderful, and the beds are very comfortable.

Isabel, the host was amazing. The property is beautiful and rooms and bathrooms super spacious. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious Would highly recommend. Perfect location to visit all the sites in Normandy and Mont St Michel.

Everything is nice, this is a hidden gem in Bayeux. Minutes drive to Normandy beach, memorial sites, beautiful French country tranquil scene. Tasteful house deco, spacious bedroom and bathroom, great breakfast, thoughtful host Isabel, the property feels like new. There is no single thing we don’t like., would stay again.

Better than home

The owner was outstanding. Treated like family and attentive to every need. The breakfast preparation was incredible. The rooms were unique as this is an older chateau. Really enjoyed our stay as it was a short drive to Bayeaux and Normandy sites. Glad we booked here.

Manoir de Conjon is an amazing wonderful place. Isabel is so kind and gracious and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and more than you can eat! It is the perfect place to visit beautiful Bayeux and the Normandy beaches. Five Stars, 10 out of 10!

Perfectly amazing

The rooms and bathrooms were perfect, spacious, and well decorated. Everything was provided that we could have ever needed. Breakfast was simply amazing. I wish we had been able to spend more time. I definitely will return with my family!

Wonderful stay!

We stayed here with for 4 night with 2 children and 2 adults in the large suite. The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast every morning was excellent. The rooms are very spacious and have everything we needed. There's a lot of attention to details. Best value for money. You need a car to get around but it's a very short drive to the nearest town Bayeux full of restaurants and lovely shops, a very historic place.

Zero negative things to say about this property. It is beautiful. Bedrooms are well equipped (helllo HUGE bathtub). Issabelle was a delightful host that had a wonderful breakfast spread every morning. The location is great if you are visiting D-Day sites and the town of Bayeux is about 10 minutes away. Bayeux has lots of restaurants and shops. Can't say enough positive things about Manoir de Conjon.

This was an amazing gem of a find. Isabell's Manoir is quite exquisite. While a 5th Generation Farm house, it's well maintained and updated. The room was amazing with plenty of room and a huge bathroom. The view of the grounds from our window was breathtaking. Isabell made us a wonderful breakfast each morning and the conversations with the other guests around the table were quite enjoyable. You can't go wrong with staying here and if you're looking for a quite and luxurious place to stay, this is it.

Amazing place to stay!

Everything about Manoir de Condon was fabulous! Isabelle, the owner, was charming and helpful. Our room was very clean, roomy and beautifully decorated. The mattress was very comfortable and made for a great nights sleep! The bathroom is remodeled, spacious and very clean. Each morning we had a wonderful breakfast with fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, cereal, fresh croissants, fresh bread, jams, tea, juices, coffee. If we needed a special time for breakfast, Isabelle had everything ready for us! The grounds are beautifully landscaped and it altogether made for a wonderful stay. We loved our four days at Manoir de Conjon!!

We LOVED this property. It is elegant, quiet, beautiful, historic, and the owner is generous and kind. Rooms and private baths were large, comfortable and better than home. Stunning view of the garden and countryside. Loved the free range chickens and Romeo. Inspired by the garden. Host offered a phenomenal selection at breakfast of cheeses, breads, croissants, home made jams and fresh coffee. I can't wait to visit again and highly recommend this lovely home.

Absolutely wonderful. Modern amenities (new shower, bathroom, electrical outlets, etc) while still retaining its old world charm. Beautiful French manor in the countryside. Short drive to local D Day sites. Great breakfast spread in the morning and a great host. Note: manor is located in a rural area - most restaurants (as typical in the region) are a sparse and at least a 20 min drive away. Exactly what we wanted and more! Will be back.

We travelled as a family with 2 teenage boys (3 nights). We had a wonderful experience. Isabelle is absolutely wonderful. She is friendly and very helpful and made us feel very welcomed. Our 2 bedroom suite was very spacious and had lots of natural lighting. Bathrooms was spacious as well with a shower, bath tub and 2 toilets. My younger son enjoyed spending time with the cats and Romeo. He misses them already. Breakfast was delightful, everything was freshly made. Next time we are back in France, we will definitely add a trip to Bayeau just to stay here for a couple of days. Merci Isabelle for making our experience at the Manior de Conjon a memorable part of our trip to France.

Great place to stay in Normandy

We have just returned from a wonder full holiday in France where we stayed at the Manior de Conjon. We found the place on Hotels.com and judging from the pictures we thought that this was the perfect place to stay during our one week visit to Normandy. Already from when we arrived our hostess made us feel welcome and since none of us speak French to a degree where we can make ourselves understandable, we settled on English as the common language and that went without any problems. The room was nice and big and the same for the bathroom. Everything was nice and clean and we instantly felt at home. The hostess also helped us by providing an electrical charger for our car and that was just great since we then could go on tours in the day time and charge at night. The breakfast was magnificent – freshly baked bread and croissants every morning with homemade marmalade and a fine selection of French cheeses and “charcuterie”. There was even homemade yoghurt and here we really got addicted  The hostess was always helpful providing us with guidance on what to see in the area and we visited places that we would not have thought about ourselves. All in all a great place to stay and we can definitely recommend this to others.

Relaxing Homebase for D-Day Sites & So Much More!

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Manoir de Conjon. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed a generous breakfast of eggs, breads, jams, cheeses, meats, yogurt, and fruits while chatting with other jovial guests, our delightful hostess Isabelle, and the two sweet kitties of the house. This was a wonderful location to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The location was perfect for us. We rented a car in Paris, stopped in Giverny to visit Monet's farmhouse and gardens then made the easy drive the rest of the way to Crouay. We would have loved to stop in Rouen along the way but we didnt' have enough time this trip. We spent an entire day exploring and learning at the D-Day sites all along the coast, such as the Artificial Harbor at Arromanches, the Longue sur Mer gun battery, Pointe du Hoc Ranger Monument, the WWII American Cemetery, the WWII German Cemetery, and several memorials along Omaha Beach. Bayeux is just 12ish minutes away from Manoir du Conjon and this city is a beautiful location for exploring and having dinner. We also visited Mont St Michel and the Bayeux Tapestry. I would have very much enjoyed some of the Calvados and Cider tastings offered around Normandy but that too is for another trip. We will definitely be staying at Manoir de Conjon when we return!
