「My family had to drive up to Virginia for my cousins graduation from UVA. So this was a quick trip but seeing the views from the house were so beautiful, we wished we could have stayed longer! Make sure you have 4 wheel drive to get here, it is quite a steep ride up the mountain.」

「We have been coming to Massanutten for several years with the family. This home was one of our favorites. The home is roomy.(there were 12 of us)...with the two kitchen tables upstairs for everyone to sit at. The location to the ski resort is perfect. The kids enjoyed the game room. We only stayed for a long weekend but I can see that this house would be great for a week vacation with the two kitchens.」

「We stayed here with our children, our friends, and their children over spring break. The lodge was beautifully appointed, with board games, a well-equipped kitchen, TVs and video games, and a hot tub. There were many minor-but-thoughtful touches throughout, too. The house was as advertised! it was secluded and quiet and the kitchen came fully appointed with pots, pans, utensils, plates, silverware, you name it. 「Loved staying at this house this past weekend. Very comfortable for a family and we had a great time making memories here. May be a good idea to put electrical covers on the electric socket next to the lower bunk bed, we didn’t trust our toddler to stay on this bed for that reason, but everything else was perfect. 「Could not be any happier…Hensley Hollow Lodge was fantastic!!! We were so pleasantly surprised at how a home that can accommodate/slerp 22 was truly spacious enough to be together without being on top of each other and the views were spectacular! Beds (& pillows) were very comfortable. Easy drive (10-12 minutes) to a grocery. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need (2 coffee pots and even 2 crock pots!). Having a second full fridge on the lower level for beverages or food overflow...
