「We have been vacationing in the Cuchara area for over 30 years. We have stayed in all sorts of condos and cabins. This condo by far has been the best. It is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. We did not bring our dogs, but if we had, the lower floor is perfect for taking them outside. Jeff is a great host. He responded immediately to any questions. When booking, I was concerned about noise from neighbors, but this trip was very quiet. About the area...we have seen the area go...

「we stayed on this property in July 2023. We had two couples and one individual. This property was cramped and not clean, and also very dark downstairs. The beds t downstairs were very uncomfortable. Bathroom downstairs very small. The cook wear was very old. I actually found mouse droppings in the crockpot that I was hoping to use. Mouse traps several places. Towels very old and raggedy. The upstairs was roomy, comfy bed, but had issues with the toilet flushing and no towels supplied up there....

「Everything was great. The cabin is in a great location, and you have access to a variety of parks, trails, etc. The cabin is clean and extremely well organized. We got hit by a mid-March snowstorm and got snowed in for a day, and Krista went out of her way to get us plowed out and provide information. Great overall experience and highly recommended!」

「Great location, very clean, quiet neighborhood, friendly people, lots of things to do in the area. Wonderful shopping and dining close. Several State parks and national area and parks close. Definitely going to return.」

「The sights and sounds of the river is so relaxing. Since the bedrooms are upstairs, you feel like you are in a tree house! It was our second time to stay in Cuchara and we hope we can stay again since we got married in the Cuchara Chapel 44 years ago.」

「Place is pretty basic. Not enough counter space to cook. Oven very dirty. Need chairs in living room. No dish washing soap. Looks like a new owner that has just put in basic necessities. Fireplace was great although no matches or fire starter. Place was not prepared for cold weather.」
