Muy buena experiencia en Hotel del Sur. Me encantó su ubicación, muy conveniente para movilizarse y conocer la zona. Destaco especialmente la atención del staff, siempre amable y dispuesto a ayudar. También fue un punto muy positivo contar con agua caliente, algo que se agradece muchísimo después de un día de paseo. En general, una estadía cómoda y agradable. ¡Lo recomiendo! ⭐️

Biggest negative was the noise. The courtyard is all tile and sound reflects. The windows and doors have zero sound blocking, so every noise goes straight into every room and people were coming and going until after 1 am and starting at 430 am. We were picked up for a hike at 430 am, so we were part of the problem! We stayed 3 nights, and noise was a consistent problem. No heat or air conditioning, but in October, it cooled down at night and the heavy blankets were very nice. Sometimes there was hot water, but often there was not. We stayed in 2 different rooms before and after our hike, all of the beds were very hard, hurt my shoulders which was new information to me. Very close to good restaurants and the main city plaza.

It was a good hotel and a friendly staff in a good location. The only criticism that I have is that one day after the daily cleaning, the door to the room was left wide open until I returned 8 or 9 hours later. I will stay again if I am in cusco again.

The reception staff were very helpful, however the staff responsible for the breakfast were not. Half the time food was not set out for the buffet and the tables were not set. The room was fairly clean however the bathroom had mold. We were each only given one bath towel, no hand towel or face cloth. Room had a window which opened onto the courtyard and the sound echoed up to our room, even when the window was closed. Very difficult to get any sleep.

Good hotel, good location. Staff lovely and helpful, welcome coca tea was nice. Beds warm and cleaned everyday. Hot water unreliable, slightly noisy hotel - can hear everything happening in courtyard. Breakfast wasn't too impressive.
