「This place was perfect. That porch over looking the lake and the stars. Lots of wildlife to see. The house is perfect, stocked with all the essentials and more then I’ve ever had in a vrbo stay. The cabin is far enough away to be quiet, but close to all the essentials. I’ve been to Machias area a million times, this was the best visit yet. I’ve already booked my week for next year. 「Our favorite place to stay in Maine! Family friendly, easy check in, attentive host, stunning views, comfortable beds, thoughtful accomodations. We love the Maine themed books and kids toys. Great location near a campground - we walked out to the point each night to collect shells and enjoy the sunset. Close enough to Jonesport but far enough away to feel secluded. We enjoyed the fire pit several times as well. We love it here! 」

「Birch Haven had everything we needed. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. We loved the huge deck, and watching the ever-changing tide. This location is incredibly quiet and peaceful. With the help of the "Merlin" app we identified 34 species during our stay. 」

「The house is a Ranch with numerous doors and windows allowing access to the outdoors from every point. An enclosed, screened in sun room on the main level & a spacious lower-level deck allow for great views, catching some rays and an evening cocktail.
