We got in a few minutes past midnight from a 6hr drive from Ilocos Norte. Really tired and exhausted, we just wanted to rest and get some sleep. Given the rates we got it for, we didn't expect much than having a cold room, hot shower, and a bed. A hotel staff assisted us with our rooms, turned on the AC and left us to our own. Entering the room, it was hot; we figured that since the AC was just turned on, it would probably take some time for the room to cool down. Unfortunately, it never did. The next morning, we complained about it, and the only thing they could say was they can't do anything about it. Refund was not an option since it was booked online. The concierge even mentioned it being repaired already.
Worse, upon leaving, I saw their walk in rates to be only 750 pesos. Out of frustration, I said to the concierge: "Why are your rates higher than online?!". The concierge answered me with: "because online sites have commissions." Knowing that the AC was previously broken, why offer it up first to your customers??? Why not give them a room they can be confident of given their customer just paid 25% more from their published rates. We really felt robbed with this experience.
Poor Customer Service and probably Facility Maintenance.
