The room is hardly fit for a decent stay. Light is very poor, facilities are very very old. No, I won't recommend this to anyone.

Room was quite small but was Clean . Good AC . Interiors are modern . Eevator can accomodate only 4-5 at a time but stairs was ok . Will definitely stay there again

Stay for 2nights no one clean my room and garbage stock 3 days and 2 nights, also not accommodating. They don't know what customer service satisfaction, I think front desk officer need more training for customer service satisfaction.

Overnight stay is ok. Long term comfort-No.
If you’re looking for an overnight stay, just to sleep overnight, this is the place. Let me explain one by one why I gave this a so-so rate. The INN has no elevator. I pity the staff in carrying my luggages from ground to main floor. The staff we’re all nice-no complain about them. The main reception is well styled, updated. Here’s the real. Upon entering the room, there’s a mouldy smell already. Everything is dusty. The fridge was moldy and there’s a bowl of leftover food with mold on it. The floor was outdated. The bed was ok. Aircon is fine. But the mold smell is so strong. There are rubber slippers that you could use. The washroom is a mess. The shower curtain is so smelly and mouldy. Its all rusted. During the night, the boise from outside is loud. I don’t care on infrastracture, all I am into is the cleanliness and comfort of a room provides. I was able to survive the 2 nights in this room. But just a warning, if you want comfort and cleanliness, not this INN. Its my fault too coz I rely on online check-in. But for $23/night don’t ask for more.

Meh
Affordable. No complimentary water upon arrival. They have 4 bottled water but its for sale. You have to have a cup or disposable glass and get water from a water dispenser near the lobby. Very small bathroom and smelly. If you are looking for affordable place minus the luxury and comfort, this is the place for you. Staffs are friendly.

Rooms were the best part of this hotel, we ordered pizza to the room and was charged 100 php corkage there is no lift in hotel and looks and smells like a run down hospital. The area is nice and close to shops to explore and did enjoy time in Dagupan

Stay at Value Star Inn is worth the mo ey. It is safe,, and comfort is good. Food is affordable considering that it is made in Star Plaza Hotel kitchen, worth the money

My stay was bad. I was made to pay additional amount for an extra occupant although the adds says good for 3 person. The place stinks. Feces of cats and dogs are scattered within the parking area.

Poor Customer Service and Facility Maintenance
We got in a few minutes past midnight from a 6hr drive from Ilocos Norte. Really tired and exhausted, we just wanted to rest and get some sleep. Given the rates we got it for, we didn't expect much than having a cold room, hot shower, and a bed. A hotel staff assisted us with our rooms, turned on the AC and left us to our own. Entering the room, it was hot; we figured that since the AC was just turned on, it would probably take some time for the room to cool down. Unfortunately, it never did. The next morning, we complained about it, and the only thing they could say was they can't do anything about it. Refund was not an option since it was booked online. The concierge even mentioned it being repaired already. Worse, upon leaving, I saw their walk in rates to be only 750 pesos. Out of frustration, I said to the concierge: "Why are your rates higher than online?!". The concierge answered me with: "because online sites have commissions." Knowing that the AC was previously broken, why offer it up first to your customers??? Why not give them a room they can be confident of given their customer just paid 25% more from their published rates. We really felt robbed with this experience. Poor Customer Service and probably Facility Maintenance.

Great location and safe hotel
Star value inn is a walking distance to the market! Location is infront of Pantal River where you can catch a boat for River cruise! There is a 24 hour security guard outside and you feel safe even if you arrive late! It is a very economical hotel and it's comfy!
