It was dirty due to construction. The bath tub shower leaked. The whole building had a fowl water stench. We have stayed there 2 other times in the past with no issues. Disappointed this time.

This place was so disgusting that I had to switch hotels. I have never done that before. They won't be in business long because there was an inspector from Richardson there threatening to shut the place down.

The property is extremely dirty, from floor, to the walls, and ceilings. We were checked into a room with a trash bag covering the ceiling above the shower and the water running. Our second room isn't much better. The paint on the ceiling is peeling, the carpet is frayed, and everything is out dated. We do not recommend this facility.

The hallways have a strong odor of smoke. Our TV did not work, the toilet only flushed after four tries and the shower worked poorly. The front desk attendant told me I would get a call from the manager but it never came.

Inop A/C that provided no cooling and loud grinding noise. Carpet was wet on one side of bed. Musty smell and ceiling showing signs of mold. Tub water would not shut off. Only half of tv channels worked and rest the channels could not keep a steady connection. Hallways were being dried by a constant fan all night. Breakfast lacking, no napkins, and little selection.

The a/c took a while to cool the room, the bathroom smelled musty/moldy, the ceiling above the shower looked like it had a water leak, and the shower curtain bar was hanging and about to fall off the wall making the shower curtain unusable. The room was sparsely stocked; had to ask for 2 more bath towels. Given the condition of the room and hearing the hotel was being renovated, they should not be open for business.

A/C in room was obscenely loud ( #317 ). Hard to sleep. Shower stall leaked in a steady stream of probably a gallon per minute the whole time we were there. Told the front desk but nothing was done. No maid service over 3 nights/4 days. Kept having to get our room keys reprogrammed because they stopped working. Construction ( renovation ) work started about 7:00 a.m. on Monday in the room above us, consisting of Bob the Builder hammering in nails almost continuously. Stacks of mattresses and discarded furniture in the parking lot along with rat traps on the ground. This property needs new management. As we were leaving there were 5 employees standing around together at the front desk—just chatting. A VERY UNPLEASANT STAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible stay
Lady at desk was so rude. We asked for 3rd set of towels because there was 3 of us and she said they would have to charge for extra. Wallpaper was falling off walls and stapled on. Smelled like skunk throughout the hallway. In our room there was mold on the walls in the shower. The furniture was falling apart. There was stains of I don't know what on the side table. the lamps were all broken. Only side table lamps lit the room. Pillows were throw pillows. It was late so we decided to just bear it and sleep and leave early. Turned the bathroom light on and roaches came out. It was the worst stay ever. Complained to the lady at the desk and she just kept saying sorry but nothing she could do. The next morning the gentlemen was explaining they are under new ownership and he would have owner reach out.

We booked for 2 nights , and it was horrible made us regret our stay and ruined our vacation , room is dirty with a lots of blood spots on sofa bed mattress... when i went to reception and talked to the guy there about my complain about the mattress.. he yelled at me and being rude saying i need you get your stuff and check out.. i asked talk to manager he replied i have no manager.. i told him im not going to check out until i talk to your manager.. so later i went to visit some of our friends with my family. And when i back to the hotel i couldn't enter my room and figured out that he changed my reservation for one night instead of two night which i already paid for . And had me to re pay for another night to unlock my room with my stuff inside it . I don't recommend this hotel at all ..

No tv service and were unable to connect and didn’t bother to follow up with me until after I called them back. Then after I’ve been there an hour and a half they offered to move me. We declined the safety latch on the door was broken for a woman traveling alone. This didn’t feel good. I was not impressed.

I use a cane to get around with. When I got checked -in and got to my assigned room, the room was already occupied by someone else.. I then had to walk all the way back to the desk to let the person know that someone was already in the room, and to get another one. (I should add with my cane). I can't stand for long times and there was nowhere for me to sit and rest. SO I got another key, went to the next room to find that the key would not work .So I had to go back to get the key programed to open the door.

Roaches. We stayed 2 nights. We should have left when we saw roaches, but we paid thru Expedia and they told us no refunds. This was a great hotel years ago and seems to be managed by a new owner. It is now starting to be run down and needs serious updating. The breakfast was really limited and they literally had two plastic bags of cereal that were torn open on the counter. The second floor smelled like pot. The walls of the hallway are all scratched up. The lamps in my room were all rusted. The king sized bed had only 2 pillows. There were liquid stains on my bed's headboard. The mirror in the bathroom had peeling paint. One of my coworkers had bugs in his room and the managers didn't respond until asked a second time. This place is not serviced or cleaned well. It's a bit disappointing as I have stayed here several times in years past and it was always good. Now the place is rundown. Wyndham Wingate, this property is bringing you down.

I assure you that we have strict guidelines we follow, and cleanliness issues are very important to us and are being addressed immediately with our staff. We are always looking for ways to improve upon the guest experience even with limited staffing. We are working hard to improve our provided services and hope you will return to experience them with a future stay.
