「The cottage, garden and surrounds are beautiful! The photos are a true representation, and Rydal is a quiet, peaceful village with very friendly locals. We were able to get all the supplies we needed from Wallerawang, a short 12 minute drive. Our host Carol was lovely, very responsive and helpful! Our dog LOVED the huge garden!」

The property is in very good condition and the generous array of faux-period furnishings are both tasteful and comfortable. 「Loved the heritage of the convent, the spaciousness of the accommodation, the beautiful garden, the location near Leura, the kitchen and the homeliness of the rooms with everything you could need, including a good library of books! Very comfortable. Downsides were the noise from the highway and the railway that had traffic and trains going all night. We had hoped for a quiet location. 」

「The property was not clean - needs a good deep clean as it was not good enough for a holiday rental. The basin in the bathroom was not draining - my husband pulled this apart and it was clogged with hair (yuck)! The double bed mattress was rock hard and had a sleepless night and sore hips. We went and bought a mattress topper the next day so we could sleep. There is not enough comfortable seating for 4 people (1 x 2seater lounge only). The TV is impossible to use.
