We didn’t stay as the elevator was broken and I couldn’t go up and down the stairs as our room was on the third floor. The clerk was gracious and refunded our money back to us. He said the elevator went out that morning and was very apologetic.

Many amenities were not available this weekend. The elevator is broken, pool was closed, broken ac units and curtain rods were store under the stairs. Multiple windows in common areas had torn screens. Our bathroom had floor tiles that were broken and unsafe. The floor near the toilet is slanting and we were given towels from the front desk but not enough to cover the people staying in the room. This location seems to be in disarray compared to other Country Inn and Suites I have stayed in.

The carpet in our room was stained and dirty. Instead of the top sheet being under the duvet on one of the beds, it was on top of everything. The mattress pad was hanging down. It was a mess. We had to ask for a second roll of TP. The card-lock on the back door of the hotel, just steps from our door, did not work. Anyone could come in or out. The fellow who checked us in and handed us gray towels was surly. I stayed here 2 yrs ago. It was fine then. Never again.

If it were not for the comfortable bed and pillows I would have rated this as Fair; the AC was sooooo noisy and only one setting (Freeze) I had to turn the unit off to sleep!! Fortunately the night was cool

Pool was closed due to "need part" according to manager/owner (only guy who ever worked during the day). I am never going back and I go to Davenport for a race ever July. Sign on the pool door said, "Pool closed today" but the sign looked old like it had been closed for weeks. Total bait and switch. Elevator also had a sign that said out of order. Total lack of upkeep. Mismanagement.

We had reservations for 4 nights. When we checked in they handed us a set of towels for each of us. Then said they only clean on the third day and if we needed anything to let them know. So we took showers the next morning and hung up towels to reuse as they were all we had. My wife asked the front desk if we were on the list for cleaning the night before the third day and told no. So we asked to be added to the list. The third day we expected to have the room cleaned and new towels but when arrived back to our room in the afternoon it wasn’t cleaned again. We asked for new towels and they gave us one set only. The next morning on our way out we asked to verify if we were on the list they said no so we told them it needed cleaned . This time when we arrived back in the afternoon it was finally cleaned.
