We had a fabulous time at the Nelson lofts. We were in town for my daughter’s graduation. The owner was very responsive and helped with any questions we had during our stay. The lofts were so nice with plenty of room for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and it felt like home. We were able to walk to all areas downtown. We wish we would have found the lofts sooner.

Women's weekend fun!

The location is great! Lots to do in the area, the property was easy to access, the units are unique and spacious, and the owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond. We would definitely recommend.

Great apartment

This apartment was great for me & my family of 6 to stay at while we were in town to catch a Quad City River Bandits game. Great location and Tim communicated well with me. Highly recommend!

Anniversary celebration

Our stay here was great. This is a spacious property, very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Check in and out was easy, and host was quick to respond to our questions. The location was convenient for walking and exploring downtown. Highly recommend.

Great location for a weekend getaway

The Nelson Lofts did not disappoint! The location was perfect for walking around and exploring downtown Davenport. The loft was very clean. Nice set up for a group trip with plenty of beds a seating. Communication was great and parking was easy. Special shout out for the showers- everyone commented how great they were! The sound does travel from the downstairs bars and neighboring lofts but they provide sound machines and ear plugs if needed. Would stay here again!

Family gathering for graduation

Let me start with one word.... FABULOUS! The Loft was wonderful. It spaciousness provided the 3 of us our own personal space and the common area was attractive and comfortable. The location was an unexpected delight! The riverfront is beautiful and the Loft was central to everything we wanted to do. We walked to a music venue, the Farmers Market on Sunday and enjoyed the unique shops. Our local hosts were so impressed with our entire experience that they can't wait to spread the word about this unique gem in the heart of the most desirable location in Davenport.

Big and basic

This was the perfect spot for our large family. There was a place for everyone to sleep and it was very clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The owner was easy to get a hold of and very helpful. The rooftop patio was a hit for us. The location was very nice as well! They were prepared with sound machines and ear plugs for the lively Saturday night music nearby. Overall I would stay again!

1/2 Nelson Loft

Loft was very clean with comfortable beds. Parking was slightly confusing but figured it out. Loud trucks and trains but nothing that would stop me from returning. Sound machines provided helped. Owner was easy to communicate with. Central location for all things Davenport and Moline. Recommend and will probably return.

Fun college visit

We came in town for 2 nights to visit some local colleges for our senior in HS. Wanted to experience some local food options and a flavor of Davenport while here. This listing was PERFECT- great accommodations for family of 5 with 3 teens. Excellent location in walking distance of some outstanding restaurants. Walking in this location felt safe and convenient. Check in / check out was seamless. The only ask - very minor - would be a little more pre-arrival direction on where it’s ok to park. But that was no big deal and we loved this place. If our son goes to college in the area - I am confident we will seek this listing many more times!!

Good location for Bar Crowd

We did not realize that this was above a bar/music venue. It was very loud all night. The VRBO contact has noise machines and ear plugs available. I thought this was for outside bar noise and the train. Did not realize it was below us! The baby is 6 months old, she didn't sleep well as floor vibrated and loud noise. Contact knew we had a baby with us, you can't put ear plugs in their ears! We ended up leaving a night early as we were not getting sleep anyway.It was a nice place just not suitable for our family at this time. Beds were very comfortable and place was well stocked.Elevator broke day before we got there so we walked up three flights. The repairman had been called twice but didn't show up until day 3 when we were leaving.I have bad knees and carrying baby supplies was a bit rough.Good location but needed to be informed about the area.

The location of the Nelson Lofts is ideal for concert goers, restaurants and bars are everywhere. Our family had two units rented and we did have an issue getting into this unit, but the host, Tim, responded to my text immediately and the problem was resolved. We will continue to rent these lofts when visiting the Quad Cities. They are great!

Much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Wonderful place with a lot of charm, very close to some nightlife which would be nice if I wasn't working the whole time :/5 Star Stay

The check in was simple, the unit was has advertised and no trains came through in the middle of the night. You do get a low rumble from the concert venue next door but it was done by 10:00. Unit was clean, well-stocked and in great shape. The balcony was an absolute GEM overlooking the Mississippi! Check out instructions were, close the door and leave. Thanks Tim!

Girls trip

We had a great stay this weekend. Place is a cool atmosphere. Bar next door is noisy but nothing that would ruin your stay. Owner was quick to answer any questions.

The unit was exactly as described. As others have said there are trains that pass by and the bar below did have a band one night which we could hear but it didn’t bother us. If you’re a light sleeper it may disrupt you. Would definitely stay again.
