"My stay was good it was fairly quiet --But I did leave a key deposit and a $50.00 damage deposit upon check-in. This should have been returned when I checked out. I told the clerk when checking out that he can come and have a look at the room for damage and then return my deposit--He said no it is all good and will be returned in a few days--Anyway the deposit should have been returned on check-out. That is my money not yours to use and return as you feel fit"

"The property sits on Hwy 97 at the north end of the city. It is convenient if you come from the north. The building is aging but the interior is well kept. The bath tub in our room is deep. It may not be the most suitable for those with mobility challenges. We like the good-sized desk and the armchair in our room. The parking lot filled up quickly. It is also used by the patrons of the Denny's. The front desk staff was efficient and friendly. The housekeeping staff was helpful."

"Staff are great to deal with and very helpful. Pool needs extra care, shower in pool is not working, pool sides needs deep cleaning and floor of pool has couple of peeled spots ...ice maker in 3rd floor is not working .. Breakfast was great and decent varieties"

"The room was clean. We had one of the bigger corner room so it was quite spacious. Unfortunately, the hotel did not include breakfast, but they have a nice open area if you book one of the balcony rooms facing the atrium. We would stay here again,"

"Room was clean and spacious. Location closed to most tourist sites with a car. Staff friendly and helpful. My family of 4 stayed in the loft suite and that was ample space. No complaints at all, only wish breakfast was Included"
The Castle at Swan Lake

"We stayed at the Castle at Swan Lake for 5 days after being evacuated due to the wildfire. Overall, the room was clean, though a few spots could have used some dusting, the sofa looked a bit dirty, and the carpet could have used a wash. It was spacious, with a king-size bedroom and an attached bathroom right as you walk in, followed by an open living room and kitchen (no door separating them). Upstairs, the loft had a large room with an open-style bathroom (sink and tub), though the toilet itself was private. The kitchen had most of the essentials, but a few more items would have made cooking easier. The room also had a large balcony with a nice view. We stayed in the second building, and my only wish is that there had been more than one handicap parking spot at the back of that building. If we needed extras like toilet paper, paper towels, or more towels, we had to go to the front desk to request them. The hotel does have an overflow parking lot, which was great since we were towing a motorcycle trailer. There's also an onsite restaurant (which we didn't try), a nice pool and hot tub, and two barbecues by the pool (which we didn't use either). We'd stay again — the hotel was very quiet at night, which matters a lot to me."

"The breakfast was fine. They have quite a selection.. As they are in the middle of renovations they had all the tables and chairs set up for the morning. The room was very clean as we stayed in one of the renovated rooms. The only thing missing was a handrail to hang onto while taking a shower. The staff was friendly. The hot tub was definitely hot."
