Property is nice. The view is outstanding. The room is older and we had a problem with the toilet no flushing, but was overall a good place to stay

Horrible
This was one of the worst hotels, it was old and gross,toilet was so loss, the tub was leaking,No wash cloths or hand towels no blanket just nasty sheets,No tv remote. We switched rooms and no TV in the room. Worst hotel. The only thing great was my refund and we left and went to the Hilton down the road wonderful hotel.

Not staying here again!
The hotel is very run downed. Our room did not look COVID 19 safe. I had to clean and wipe everthing down myself. The kitchen door was broken and the bathroom wall had a hole. The elevator kept on making a strange noise, did not feel safe.The hotel needs an overall update and a deep cleaning. The only good thing was the view. Will not recommended or stay here again.

Disappointed
Our room was needing a remodel. Outlets wouldn't hold cords all thru room.balcony had cigg buts in our non smoking room,wasn't cleaned obviously.Dissapointing,closed restaurant at 3 on weekend,stayed till Monday, restaurant,bar never opened or played music like usual when we stayed in past.this used to be our davorite place,disappointing .

Good place to stay on the beach
Good location on the beach with walking access to downtown, boardwalk & pier. Hotel was clean, but pool/beach towels were small/cheap, especially for the resort fee that was charged.

I used to stay at this Hotel al the time but since like 2 years ago I haven't and the change is huge! the hotel look very neglected. The lobby s fine but the high ways and elevator omg what a horrible smell, also the wall where very dirty and my room door wasn't working properly. the shower was full of mold and very dirty. the third floor view was horrible by looking at the roof the lobby but it was so dirty with beer bottles and trash all over the roof. I would not stay here again. so sad for a great area hotel.

The hotel is destroyed. The elevators buttons dont work. Nobody cleans the rooms. The stairs to the beach are full of garbage. It has not been painted in the last hundred years.

We arrived at 2pm and our check in time wasn’t until 4pm so they told us we had to wait which was okay because we knew we were early, however when we came back at 8pm they told us they never cleaned the room. They ended up putting us in a room with a slightly better view which was nice but still an inconvenience. There was also a man half naked shooting up drugs right outside the front door and the hallways and elevators were filthy with cigarettes on the ground. The shower in the room was broken and the water didn’t turn off all the way and the tub was filled with nasty rust. very gross. would not recommend or return.

Unless you are a young person without kids who is only staying here for a place to sleep and don’t care about cleanliness, do not book!! It is the worst hotel I have stayed at. The pictures are a lie. Even the ocean front view is interrupted by the filthy parking lot. Room was filthy. Bathroom was disgusting. Lobby and outside area was just as bad. Elevator was gross and the entire place smells. We paid for 2 days but left after 1. We booked at the Hilton and ate the $100 we were out for the extra day we already paid for. It has to be bad for me to walk away from a room already paid for. I do have to say that the staff was nice but that is the only good thing. Spent a little extra and stay elsewhere. Don’t get scammed. Read the reviews!

The front desk man was awesome. He gave me a great location room, but it was Too high! He was very accommodating and changed the room to a lower level. I understand the COVID-19 but I was extremely upset to have been charged 14.95 for a Resort Fee, considering the restaurant and bar were closed.

1st time stay at this Hotel
It was ok. Room was big! The tv was messed up when we arrive. But they got some to come fix it ad soon as they could. Oh and they need a bigger parking lot on the property. At night, at a certain time, parking lot gets full and i had to park my car across the street in there xtra parking lot away from the hotel.

Was recommended by a friend who stayed there a few years ago. Place has a ton of potential but needs A LOT of work. First room was filthy and hallway smelled terrible. Switched to same room 1 floor up. Cleaner but not great and very run down. Loose door knobs, paint peeling, tub peeling but did not stink. Lol Lobby was ok but housekeeping didnt pick up spilled fries for both days we were there. Elevators prompt but smelled horrible of urine and marijuana. Doors slamming kept us up most of night. Just not a good experience overall. Best thing was the view of ocean.

We not return
Our room was in high need of repair and cleaning. The nightstand lamp shade was covered in mold alone with mold, dust and trash piled behind the nightstand. Also the bathroom floor hadnt been sweeped or cleaned in a long time. The bottom of our feet got very dirty walking on the carpet. The elevator was very dirty and the walls in poor condition. The "down" button didnt work. We did get moved to another room after complaining about a dog barking almost none stop for 24 hours. The second room was a bit cleaner. My pics will give more details. On a good note we did enjoy talking to the bar tender Patrick.

Remodel the building throw old furniture out!!!
Hotel is old and worn. Rust in the bathroom and patio was dirty and bird mess everywhere. Service of front desk was very nice. They just work there. They can’t help the place looks like it’s hasn't been open since 1970. Bedding horrible double sheets is your blanket on the lumpy mattress. No need for a mask here. All are welcome. Sorry no pics I checked out ASAP within an hour.

Had a problem checking in. Then got to our room and there was a little water in the bathroom. Figured it might be from cleaning or something. One of our kids went to the bathroom and we went down for about a hour. When we came back up we all changed me and my husband changed in the little kitchen area then went in the balocony. The last of the kids came out on the balcony and told us there was a flood so we went in and by that time we had a knock on our door. My husband had to go downstairs and a guy was there to vaccum the water up. They were talking about moving us to another hotel but we were currently waiting for my husbands brother to bring us a spare key because we acciedently locked ours in the truck. It seemed like everyone was mad at us like it was our fault. But it was already a issue when we got in the room and didnt realize. So it got fixed and water got sucked up then they had to take bucket by bucket and dump down our toilet because there was nowhere else for them to dump it. They said they would be back to clean the toilet and floor. I didnt even want to sit on the toilet that had white stuff peeling off all over it. Andthe floor was so nasty to walk on with all that toilet water not cleaned up. And the hotel was over booked so we couldnt be moved at all. The balcony was nice and it had a nice view. Other than that it was not a good stay. And it was supposed to be a birthday trip for 2 of my kids. Turning 9 and 5. The trip was a bust.

DO NOT BOOK!!!!!
Room was severely outdated. Stained furniture. Sliding door was so rusted it didn't work. Dead cockroaches in room. Due to COVID no room service or amenities. We were still charged a resort fee. Not a pleasant experience.

3 years ago I stayed here and they said after that summer, the hotel would be renovated. I'm pretty sure no renovations have been done. It's more like a motel where people live there throughout the year. The elevators are horrible and I wouldn't recommend touching ANYTHING. I will say the room we had this time was better than our last stay but that's not saying much.
