A disappointing stay at what was expected to be a charming antique hotel.
Upon taking my first shower, I discovered that the towel provided had two large holes and visible black fingerprint marks. This immediately raised serious concerns about cleanliness and quality control. The bathroom window was extremely dirty, appearing as though it had not been cleaned in years. Additionally, robes hanging in the closet appeared to have been previously used, which is entirely unacceptable.
My assigned room was located at the far corner facing the road, resulting in significant noise throughout the night and making it very difficult to rest. The only reason I remained was because the room had already been paid for; otherwise, I would have left immediately.
Aside from the staff, who were courteous, the overall condition of the room and facilities was deeply disappointing especially considering this hotel came highly recommended. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.
