A great stay in Death Valley. I was traveling with my 90 year old mother and the front desk staff checked us in early and chose a convenient room which was helpful for my mother as we were in a wheelchair. Everything was incredibly perfect, beautiful environment with lots of plants and a fountain in the garden, swimming pool, tennis courts, golf course, massage room... It's incredible to be in Death Valley! It's really a trustworthy and relaxing resort paradise to experience and explore Death Valley! Highly recommended! Thank you to all the staff for their dedication and service!

Property was nicely maintained and golf cart services are available to get your luggage from the parking lot to your room. The Inn sits top a hill and parking is below. Customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, customer focused and very polite. The oasis is very nice and you can meander through the garden with running creeks, waterfalls and frog ponds. We had the terrace room which faced the Bad water Basin and the very nice pool area. Restaurant food was good and they had a nice selection for food/drinks. The room was big enough and the bathroom had all products needed. It did need an overhaul. Paint needs to be stripped and redone. Carpets really need cleaning and a room refresh. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with beautiful scenery.

We stayed in their Casita room, and it was just wonderful. I highly recommend staying in one of Casitas. The lodge was well appointed and roomy with living room and a separate bedroom. The ground was beautiful with water fountain and streams running through the lodge. I would definitely stay here again. Their Dining Room was also great too.

Overall you don't have much choice in Death Valley but this is definitely the place to stay. Beautiful, no frills & eclectic property. Lots of historic charm and an overall great hotel. Food portions are generous and good quality. Overall I would recommend.

Everything was great but there were some quirks- there isn’t a microwave on site, the parking lots are small so you need to circle when it’s busy (but there was construction going on so that didn’t help), and the main parking lot is down a small steep hill so you need to get a ride to/from your car with a golf cart when you’ve got luggage.

Excellent hotel - centrally located in Death Valley. Hotel features air conditioning (rare for a hotel in a national park), pool, and restaurant. Hotel room was comfy - beds were plush; air conditioning was perfect. We would visit again!

Such a lovely place in Death Valley. We drove to the Inn at night. Those roads were something out of a scary movie because of the darkness. Upon driving up to the Inn, appearances are misleading but when you get to the front of the house, you know you're checking into a desert resort. Our room was nice and the property, beautiful. The next day, we walked around and saw the villas at the bottom part of the resort. Something to consider the next time when traveling with family. The restaurant served a delicious breakfast and the coffee was good. Staff were excellent! Also need to mention, the terrace was a great place to see the stars at night. It was breezy when we were there but it was so comfortable that I could have stayed there forever.

Iconic national park hotel in a stunning setting. It's very beautiful and well maintained. Expect smaller rooms, given the age of the hotel, but the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The mattress and towels could be better (compared to a similar hotel like the Mission Inn.) Light sleepers might not like the loud air conditioning, which really can't be controlled in-room. Great pool area, pretty but so-so fitness room. Pro tip on the nice sauna: start the timer before your work-out so it will be somewhat hot by the time you're ready. Nice bar and restaurant area adjacent to the lobby/lounge areas. Pretty good food and drinks, not outrageously priced considering location. Great service from all the staff. Worth the money to stay here.

The hotel is super pricey as compared to the staff services and amenities. First in the heat there is no direct way to find the reception from parking. Then There were 4 people at front desk but no one was picking calls for about an hour. They even charged us twice and we had to dispute charges with CC as usual no call picking. Overall services does not do justice to the price you are paying.

We only stayed one night at the Inn but loved it. The room was clean and lovely, the food at the restaurant delicious (I had the Sandia salad with what may have been the best piece of salmon ever), and we enjoyed having our own golf cart to go from the main hotel to our casita. Our favorite part was late night stargazing from the roof deck in the warm desert night- just heavenly.

We checked in around 5:45pm and the or I was was quick and smooth. Then we went back after watching the sunset, we had to wait 20 mins for the doorbell person to take care of luggage. Additionally at the front desk, they can’t charge cash - I was hoping to tip staff but could not.
