Best hotel in Mt.Zion, IL.
We were disappointed that the pool was closed b/c of a leak & wasn’t yet repaired. The staff is great & rooms & beds are comfortable, breakfast was also nice. Best place to stay in Mt.Zion!

Messy beds at first not the worst of it!
We booked here because the website said they had a pool. Unfortunately it was out of service, I do wish this had been started on the website. I would not have booked here. My adult special needs son was very disappointed. I just won’t trust Hampton Inn anymore.

I couldn't get the thermostat to go over 70 degrees. The guy at the desk was nice enough to come up to my room and fix it for me. The only minor problem I had was that the water temperature in the shower was a little slow to react to adjustments. Otherwise, the hotel is excellent. I will be staying there again.

Always a good place to stay in Decatur
We stay at this Hampton whenever we come to Decatur and it is always good. The service, the beds, the rooms and the breakfast are all good. We like the location too.

The mattress!!! For what we had to pay to stay for 2 nights the mattress needs to be top quality/top of the line. No one wants to get into bed and try and sleep for the night and have your back feel worse in the morning. Had there been sufficient floor space we would have moved the bed covers to the floor. Every thing else was up to par with our decades long history of staying at Hampton Inn.
