"I am an advid traveler, and I enjoy all types of lodging accommodations. However, this property was not presented as described. I never received check-in instructions nor the code to access the property even though the information was requested days before my arrival. Upon arriving to the property the exterior of the home was not maintain. The driveway was littered with multiple trash bags and empty alcohol content and the trash bin was full to capacity. "The hotel itself was great, but the staff was incredible! I love they replaced your towels at Hilton properties now every day. But from the maintenance staff to the person who hosted the breakfast to the front clerks, and all around the staff was wonderful! We loved Freda from breakfast,. Helpful and personable beyond expectation! The front desk staff was amazing! Mae, Marie, Beth, and I believe there was one other one that were there while we were there went all out to assist us! We have been to this hotel many times because we have family in Mount Zion, but this may have been the best stay yet!"

"My sister and I loved the cozy feeling of this historic property. Penny provides many added touches that enhanced our stay. We loved that she decorated for Christmas! It was the perfect place to come home to after a day of shopping! We will definitely stay there again next year!"
