The course is frequently used in conjunction with Chaska's other well known course, the private Hazeltine National Golf Club, which has hosted several national golf tournaments, including 2 PGA championships. In 2003 the Chaska Town Course co-hosted the U.S. Amateur, which isn't the PGA, but not to shabby for this municipally ran public course.
