「Absolutely loved this spot. The inside was even better than expected - cozy and clean. Fam of 5 plus our dog did just fine space wise. Super quiet little cluster of river houses, great pizza and pasty place and a convenient store just up the road, kayak rental people practically within shouting distance, and tons to do within a short drive. 「The cabin was well stocked and we were able to kayak right out front. We had everything we needed and more.」

「This was our first trip to the UP and with 3 kids and a large dog, we don’t travel light. I was a little worried not having a big discount store nearby but all that stress melted away when we arrived and all the little things were already waiting for us- from soap to dog dishes to marshmallows to extra TP, the house was fully stocked. 「The house is close to Munising with easy drives to all the Munising sights. It was a perfect place to stay for our weekend getaway. Very clean, with ample supplies. Beds were very comfortable and the shower had plenty of water and hot water.」

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
