The staff was courteous, especially Kumar, and I am assuming his son. The rooms were clean, and smelled fine. The floors took a little while to warm up, but other than that, climate control in the room worked great. I would visit this establishment again.

The room was out dated but pretty clean, bed wasn’t very comfortable and that’s ok I guess. I found no bugs either which is most important to me! Was overall a decent experience. The front staff woman was very nice.

Economical choice for short stay

Filled an immediate need for a few hours of sleep on the road. Checked in at around 1am. Desk clerk very friendly and polite.

Great place to get off the road for the night, but this very old property is not a place to vacation at. Bed, linens were comfy and inexpensive rate. Pet friendly w/ $20 pet fee. Lots of grass to walk the dog.

Last second stay

Decided last minute to stay in Wauseon. Booked the room and took what was available. The lady at the hotel was lovely and friendly. The room was large and the beds and pillows were comfortable. No complaints.

If you’re looking for any sign of a comfortable stay, this isn’t it. However it served its purpose and the diner next door was a pleasant surprise. Happy I had my camping sheets and extra stuff with me.

Great Staff!

I only stayed 1 night because I had to pull over due to the winter storm, so it was lasy minute- but! I was overall very happy with the staff and I felt safe ( I was travelling alone ). The rooms are dated and need upgrades that are pretty obvious, but! it was very clean and the bed was great.

Staff was very welcoming and friendly, super accommodating and even waived the deposit which was welcome. However my biggest complaint would be the state of the room, specifically the fact that it was infested with ants and spiders. My first 10 minutes of sitting down had me get bit by a little eight-legged cretan, followed by my feet being swarmed by a dozen ants and more once I was actually in bed. No bed bugs that I could see but the ants and spiders were pretty intolerable. Still picking off a few from my luggage on the road. Not sure if it's just the specific building that I was in or if both buildings will have this issue, or if it was even just the room itself but definitely consider it if you're going to stay here. Otherwise for the price and service if you just need somewhere for a quick stay then you can't really do much worse.

BED BUGS

When we got to thw room it was clean and cozy. We went to bed and thats when it went downhill. I was woken up at 3am being eaten by bugs. We took the sheet off and saw bugs everywhere. They were on the mattress, all in the box springs EVERYWHERE! BED BUGS... I packed my things in a plastic garbage bag and tied it up and went to front office to let them know. The lady in the office was so kind and empathetic. She said the owner would call me in the morning. I never received a call. I contacted Hotels.com and currently waiting on escalation department to contact me for a FULL refund.
