This property has had nothing but 5 star reviews! One of cleanest and nicest rentals our guests have seen. Don’t look for check out instructions - there are none!

Talkeetna’s Mount Dall Cottage is the perfect blend; modern & luxurious while set in a charming rustic location.

Free parking, for registered guests only. No RVs, no camping allowed on our property. Parties/gatherings and visitors are not permitted.

Pets are not allowed.

More information-

At mile 4 of the Talkeetna Spur Road at Sunshine Lakes, you’ll have the convenience of easy access to the Parks Highway (great for overnight travel accommodations) and just a short drive to Downtown Talkeetna.

Denali Brewery tasting room and Cubby’s Marketplace are just minutes away.

The space-

Stand alone cottage in wooded setting behind main house. This is truly one of Talkeetna’s finest properties.

New in 2017, Mount Dall Cottage is a modern space with a separate bedroom with queen bed, a beautiful bathroom and large shower (w/ luxurious rain-fall shower head), a wonderful kitchen with gas range, and everything you need to feel at home! (including laundry)

The kitchen has all you need to prepare and serve your own meals, a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker - complete with coffee, tea, creamer, and sweeteners provided.

There is wireless internet in the cottage and a TV with a large selection of movies and television shows via internet, using Roku. You can also use your Netflix, Amazon Prime, or other premium subscription service if you desire.

Let’s be honest, you may not want to leave :)

Guest access -

Located behind our Main House, this is a ‘stand alone’ luxurious cottage with a separate bedroom, modern kitchen, bath, and laundry. You will be given an access code for front door.

If you have any special requests (like late check out) please let us know. We will always try to accommodate any reasonable requests!

Interaction with guests -

We are certainly available for any questions by phone, text, or email. Let us help you plan your stay.

We live in the main house on the property (shared driveway and yard).

Quiet cozy cabin

We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful little cabin. Close enough to town to be able to enjoy but far enough away to enjoy the quietness. The cabin had everything you could need for your stay.

The property was very clean and comfortable! There was a main bedroom with a livingroom. A large air mattress was included allowing 4 people to stay. Washer/dryer was nice to have . Would definitely stay again!

Relaxing modern cabin on Talkeetna spur road.

The Mount Dall cottage was just what we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful Talkeetna and Trapper Creek area. Everything you need and could think of was supplied. The shower was great and the bed was so comfortable we just feel asleep with no problem. It was worthy of more than one night so we will definitely be staying the next time we come up.

Great place to stay!

The location was perfect for our adventures in/around Talkeetna. The cottage had everything we needed for comfort and functionality. Michael was very responsive to questions we had and even gave us an heads up about the moose in the neighborhood. On our last morning we in fact got to see a family of three moose right outside our window. Made a lovely breakfast time. I recommend staying with any of the Mount Dall locations! Thank you Michael and family!

Husband and I stayed here for a few days while we visited and hiked around Talkeetna. Beautiful cabin, well-built, clean, little kitchen all we needed. Easy drives to town or hiking. Great communication with owners!

We were only here for a one night stay however it was perfect for our needs. It would’ve been even better if we were in the area for longer. It was very spacious for a small cabin, enough for two people. The bed was super comfortable so much so that I even had to inquire about what kind of mattress it was. I want one for my own home! The location was perfect as we were in between Denali and Seward. Talkeetna was on our itinerary which the downtown area was 10 min away! Mount Dall was the perfect stay!

Talkeetna cabin

Very modern and clean cabin in Talkeetna. It looks brand new! We only stayed one night going from Homer to Fairbanks so we didn't get to do too much. Denali Brewing was great and there is definitely some good hiking around. I would highly recommend staying here while in Talkeetna!

Charming little house in the woods

We were very happy with our stay. It is charming and well appointed. Everything we needed was supplied. The owners were easy to work with and communicated back very quickly. They told us their favorite restaurants and things to do. Though the owners live on the property everything felt very private and they made entry easy. We will be back for sure.

Cozy place to stay

The place was very clean with everything thing you need. My only issue was the tv and couch weren’t facing each other. After a day of working, I just wanted to relax with a movie. I have a neck fusion so turning my neck far is difficult to do for long. It would be much better to face the couch towards the tv straight on. Even the tv extension only extended out so far. It’s silly but that was my only issue but definitely not a deal breaker. Would stay again.

the cabin was absolutely adorable with everything perfectly in place. the way i sank into that giant fluffy bed will give me fond memories for months to come. we even played outside with the owners kiddos for a while! 10/10 would book again and recommend to anyone. i'm frankly happy we got the booking on just a few short months notice. thanks again for a fantastic weekend!
