Beautiful home and beautiful views. Easy to use kitchen. Great card table and chairs for cards. No ironing board in the nice laundry room. Laundry racks were nice to have Plenty of room for three couples or more.

Overall simple but nice, walk to beach a bit difficult, limited cleaning products. No outdoor grill was a disappointment. While we had two minor issues with a broken coffee maker and a clogged sink the response and follow up was excellent.

Stay at the beach

The house was very nice and easy to get to the beach. The only issue was that the upstairs bathroom smelled like pee and the bathroom floor was sticky. It was not clean. The rest of the house was very nice. It had a great view of the ocean.

Great Stay

Every thing was great! access to the beach and shopping was very close. Only thing would have been better was a BBQ and a way to rinse off before you track sand into the house.

Grandma's Bday

3 couples and (Mom Grandma / Great Grandma). It was My Mother inlaws 89th birthday. We came from Washington and my sister inlaw came from Colorado. It was a really nice home and in a really nice spot. We were able to make our own meals. a very nicely equipped Kitchen. We bummed around on the beach and hung out on the deck. Just perfrct.

Perfect family getaway!

This property provided a perfect family getaway and is a great location for beach combing and exploring the Oregon coast. The house could easily accommodate a large or small family/gathering, with four bedrooms/three bathrooms, space for an air mattress, and two living rooms. Beach access is within walking distance and the neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. Plenty of linens and kitchen items and an operational washer and dryer. Check in/out instructions were user-friendly.

Great oceanfront getaway

The goal of ocean views and proximity to the beach was met superbly in this rental. Thrilled with all the tools and kitchen items to help with meals while we were there. When we arrived the house was rather cool but warmed to the desired temperature within just a few minutes. Loved the upstairs additional living area! Had an issue with the upstairs shower but assistance arrived to fix the problem within a few hours. Yes, the short path to the beach is steeper for the less agile, but only a few footsteps. If we need a larger house for a big group, we will definitely rent again.

Great house on Oregon Coast

This house was as advertised. It is a great location just a short walk to the beach. And you have great views of the ocean from the house since it sits up above the houses in front of it. We even saw a grey whale from the house on our last day there. We stayed here as a home base for 4 nights as we did some day trips to Universities and hiking. It's also about 15 minutes away from Depoe Bay which is great for whale watching from the shore. The house was well stocked and even provided soap and shampoo which many VRBOs don't. There were only 4 of us so we had plenty of space. But there would have easily been room for 8. Two tips while staying there - the dryer took a little while to dry our laundry. Make sure you plan for that. We didn't give ourselves enough time on our last night there and we were up later than we hoped. Also, we didn't find a hair dryer anywhere so make sure to bring one of those. The fireplace pilot will always be on so you will get a slight smell of gas, but that is normal. Overall, this was a great property and I'd recommend it for any groups of 4-8 people. We didn't get a chance to spend as much time there as we had hoped since we were out, but when we were there it was great.

Breaking Waves Retreat 23 Feb - 26 Feb

The main living area had space heaters for a heat source. There was no guidance left for us. We attempted to use the fireplace but it quickly went out. We called the help number wearily the next morning and we’re told someone would be out in the afternoon. The representative, who was very friendly and kind, showed up after 5:00 pm. He was able to get the fireplace going, but it quit working working 5 minutes of his departure. So we called again. A bit later a different representative came by, also friendly and kind, and fiddled with the fireplace. He knew enough to say there was something wrong with the igniter and offered us another space heater as it was going to be cold again that night. I’m disappointed that we were unable to use the fireplace, not only for warmth, but for its cozy ambiance. I am also troubled that space heaters were the only other option and that the furnace in the home didn’t heat that main room in the house at all. I would love to bring my grand children to this lovely property, however, will have to reconsider with the knowledge that not only is heat an issue, but also a safety hazard for small children and a potential fire hazard for all. Otherwise, this is a lovely property and we enjoyed our stay.

Good not Great

Don’t get me wrong, we enjoyed ourselves. You have to have reasonable expectations. You are not staying at a hotel so you can’t expect same experience. There was a couple of things that we would’ve of wished were different. For example, having stayed there twice, the property was much cleaner the first time. This time there was gunk around the edges of range, dust bunnies and cobwebs around most of the rooms. Also, we checked in on Friday and checked out on Tuesday and on Friday the garbage can was so full the lid wouldn’t shut and it was strapped down to keep stuff from flying away. The garbage doesn’t pick up until Monday We were a group of 7 so we had to stack garbage along side of the can all weekend and try to keep critters from getting into it. Little things like that we wish were different but overall our trip was enjoyable, that said, we probably won’t stay at this property again. We paid similar prices to hotels in area, for the money we should of just booked a hotel.

Sisters getaway (5 of us)

The weather was very rainy and windy so ocean visit not possible. Heating in house unbalanced-living room cold,bedrooms too warm. But overall we loved the size and it worked well for our sisters getaway. We would definitely stay there again. (The glass shelf in downstairs full bath fell and didn't break but the attachment system will not hold that weight of glass. We out it under the sink to be fixed.)

Great house and location

The size of the house was great, plenty of room for my large family. The beach is just around the corner and beautiful. Only complaint, the house wasn't as clean as i would expect.

Depoe Bay beach house

The view from the deck was stunning, the house was quite spacious and just a short walk to the beach. Newport and Lincoln are both short drives away and Depoe Bay while small and quaint was fun to walk through. We saw whales a few times from the bridge in town. The entire family had a blast.

Amazing Family Getaway with Kids & Grandparents (6 of us)!!!

This wonderful home in Depoe Bay was ideal for our group of 6 family members traveling from Seattle. Each of our children (ages 19 and 22) had their own bedroom with a view as did my parents. All of them slept in the 3 spacious bedrooms on the main floor of the house and used the two bathrooms on this level. My wife and I stayed in the seperate upstairs living space with it's own living area, kitchenette, deck, and en-suite master bedroom. The decks and windows in the home highlight the amazing view which was the reason we traveled to the Oregon coast. The furnishings were very comfortable and the place is very tastefully decorated. The cable tv also provided enough options to keep us occupied and up to date on the latest news and sports. The internet is spotty and very slow but luckily our cell phones had strong reception we brought a WiFi Hotspot that powered our non-cellular device connections. It would have been nice to have a dining table on the deck and a barbecue but we definitely were fine with cooking in the well supplied and stocked kitchen and supporting or ordering takeout from the local restaurants. The location is great for beach access for those without mobility challenges. This was made clear in the previous reviews and description of the place so we new what we were in for. Chester's grocery store is very close by and has long hours that came in handy a couple times. The Salishan shops, restaurants, and coffee shop also were great (we enjoyed dinner at Mangia, and drinks and snacks from the coffee shop). We played golf at Salishan Resort (top notch course in great shape) and at Chinook Winds Casino (middle of the road but definitely worth playing for variety). We also spent a couple hours on the Adventure course at Salishan Resort (a series of high altitude ropes challenges that generate adrenaline and push you to overcome your fears). Great way to spend time with the kids. Lincoln City is a short 15 minute drive and Depoe Bay is about 7 minutes. Kylo's fish house in Lincoln City was great, Wing Wa Chinese food in Depoe Bay was also very good, and Gallucci's Pizza in Lincoln City was pretty good. Mangia's food was excellent as well for an authentic Italian meal (they have a great 2 entree meal deal with a bottle of wine for $39). Thanks for making our 5 days in Depoe Bay a relaxing and very enjoyable time. We definitely will keep this place and Oregon Beach Vacations in mind for our next road trip getaway!

Beautiful stay

We loved this vacation home ... it is just as advertised. We especially enjoyed the decks overlooking the ocean, the aesthetic of the house, as well as all the amenities. The only small wish would be to have comforters on the beds .. loved to listen to the waves breaking at night with windows open.. comforters would have been super - but nevertheless a wonderful stay!
