Great Location with gorgeous beach views

Loved that you had a balcony beach view. And could walk to a lot of stores and activities. The Lights around the Pool made a beautiful night scene.

Very clean, great location

The condo was so nice, great view and pool beach area was beautiful. Loved having a balcony to sit on and enjoy! Condo is very well appointed and clean.

Great place

Beautiful views of the ocean. Room was clean and comfortable. Could use a bit of updating but otherwise good place to stay. Good security and great pool ( was a bit too warm to be refreshing thou ocean was much cooler) great space to grill out if you want. Elevators a bit slow and one made some noises that were a bit concerning. Good location to everything. Would stay again

Nice stay

Overall this unit is slightly outdated, but everything worked correctly and we didn’t have any major issues outside the bedroom which seemed like water was running constantly. We used the fan app to blocked the noise out and it seemed to help. I think this is a product of the bedroom being at the front of the unit as we have stayed in units where the bedroom is toward the ocean and had no issues. Overall it was 6/10 stay for us.

Good location - Bad HOA

Great location, great views, easy access to the beach. Dealing with the homeowner's association was not pleasant. WiFi was advertised, but it was out-of-service our entire duration. Called at least twice a day every day and the promises of fixing it never came about - even after we identified that it was a bad router needing replacement. The unit smelled of disinfectant for the duration. Shower water pressure was awful. Oh, and if you want to go crab-hunting on the beach at night, bring a ladder, because the security will run locking cables through the gates at night without notice, preventing access back onto property. But again - great location and great views.

Would Stay again

There were some routine maintenance issues that need to be addressed but overall was a very nice place. The dishwasher was backed up b/c the garbage disposal was clogged and not working - we unclogged it and the dishwasher worked properly but the garbage disposal was locked up. The Dryer made a loud noise and there was a section that would grab strings from the clothing and get stuck. I did mention these issues to the property management, and they were very responsive - The rug in the living area is very old and dirty and should be replaced. All of these issues were very minor, and we would stay at this property in the future.

Disappointed in Destin

We arrived and although the unit was clean, it only gave us 2 towels for 2 adults for 7 days. Our go to at Vacasa was worthless, while we got a few more towels a couple days after we requested,they were very rough and hard. There was construction going on right next door with power tools, banging, etc all day long which was not at all peaceful. This unit should have not benn rented to us. Also, the dryer for the unit had a sign on it that stated" Do not use" We were given refunds for this, but nothing was ever done about our noise complaints. We finally asked for a "forced move " from Vacasa.... am all day fiasco . they moved us to anotehr unit where the door code dod not work and despite multiple calls, emalils, never fixed the problem. We could not leave our unit for the fear of being locked out. We left a day early. Vacasa did not come through on any promises to help. This level of incompetence I have never seen. I will not use VRBO or Vicasa again.
