Perfect beach escape for family with kids

We LOVED our stay in Destin Pointe! Between the pools, beaches & well maintained facility our kids had a ball.I also loved the added value that you can park for free at the boardwalk.

Weekend getaway

The location is perfect. Short distance (walkable )to beach and there is a tram that will drop off and pick up. The 2 chairs and umbrella being included in the rental cost was AMAZING! The neighborhood is gorgeous! Would be interested a unit with 2 bedrooms next time.

Nice getaway

We enjoyed staying here and had a good trip. It is an easy walk to the beach for the two of us. A few tips - if you are planning to rent an umbrella and chairs, you are in luck. They are set up over half of the beach space for this area. If you want to use your own umbrella and chairs, you will need to set up outside of the area where the rentals are. It is a large portion of the beach. The snorkeling in this area is great. We saw a manatee, turtles, and ones of fish. However, this is not a secret spot - a lot of paid snorkeling boats will show up throughout the day. It wasn't a big deal and we enjoyed the beach - just expect boats and large snorkeling groups.For the actual rooms, no issues, great view, clean, and a mostly stocked kitchen of utensils, bowls, etc. We had no issues and will definitely look to stay here again when we are in Destin.

HELP

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Will someone please rescue this unit and give it some much needed attention? The view was amazing and the unit was clean and that’s about the positive of it.

First time in Destin

This Condo is in a great loction to places to go. Not right on the beach. The tram was not working when we were there so the walk to beach was quite a distance. We tried to rent bikes one day but they never called us back. We told the property managers about a couple of mantenance issues which I am sure they will address. The condo was not cool enough for us in the master bedroom so we had to purchase a fan which we had to leave there. The room was also to bright and we had to cover the windows. I'm not sure everyone would have that issue. The view out the patio was great and the sunsets were amazing. Destin is beautiful.

Mother-Daughter Relaxing Trip

The Propert Management company is wonderful! The unit its self is a bit outdated. Beautiful subdivision, with plenty of ocean or pools to keep busy in. It is a bit of a hike to the ocean so just plan accordingly.

Fantastic locations

We had some issues with the property but the management company was top notch and we’re able to provide us with another spot. We had an amazing time. Great location. Easy walk to beach and pool.

Reviewer Comments: The East Pass Beach access was quite a walk and the first half of the beach is set up with chairs and umbrellas for guests staying at another location that get shuttled in. So if you want to spend the day at that location plan to be walking awhile and uphill. The other beach access was a little hard to find and also quite a walk. The condo and pools were very nice it’s just not great access to the ocean. The dryer in the room also wasn’t great, had to run it at least 2x for a small load to dry.

It all depends on what is available, but when we do, we have never had a bad experience. The unit we stayed had a georgeous view, but is in need of some TLC.
