Relaxing and quiet

This property was perfect for my husband and I. The fact that we could bring our dog was the bonus! Very welcoming. We felt right at home. Host was quick with response if we had any questions. Pretty centrally located in Destin. Close to shopping and places to eat. Overall, this was the perfect place.

Very nice place but a few issues

Issues a) lighting is poor, b) A/C a little inadequate in afternoons until about 10 pm, c) there were some ants in the kitchen.

Little get away

Initial impression the outside of the property was not maintained. Creep what I’m assuming was workers parked sleeping in their trucks. Definitely would not recommended if you have younger kids . If you are a young spring breaker, this property is for you! Plenty of loud partying people through all hours of the night. The inside was nice but had a distinct not fresh and animal smell especially in the master bathroom. We left a night early due to all these issues. We will definitely not book at this location again.

Not only was Captain's Quarters a very nice spacious condo/townhome, but it was well furnished with cooking utensils and dishware it is a really great place for dog owners. The hosts were wonderful to deal with we had one chair with a loose leg and it was fixed almost immediately. My wife and I have stayed a VRBO's across the country and I highly recommend Captains Quarters.
