    Welcome to St. Lucia 1002, a lovely two bedroom, two bath GULF View condo in the St. Lucia building at the fabulous Silver Shells Beach Resort and Spa! With two king master suites and a sleeper sofa in the living room, this lovely unit sleeps 6. The first master suite has a jetted tub, glassed in shower and dual vanity. New stainless-steel appliances have been added to the kitchen. Have a seat on the large balcony and take in the expansive views. With multiple TV's throughout, including a new 75 inch in the living room, and all the amenities available at this incredible resort, you're sure to have a dream vacation at St. Lucia 1002.

    Snowbird Season runs November thru February. For a quote, select an arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and a departure date (must be the 1st day of a subsequent month).     * The Lagoon Pool will be heated during spring break March 8th to April 8th as well as for Thanksgiving and Christmas week!

Such a great place to stay! The condo was very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The check-in process was simple and hassle-free, which made our arrival stress-free. Excellent location, beautiful views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo! I could wake up to that view everyday. The amenities were excellent as well. We cooked fish on the grill, hung out by the beautiful pool, listened to live music and enjoyed hours of watching our kids enjoy the sand and surf. We will definitely be back soon!

Perfect getaway!

I brought my goddaughter and visiting 5yr old granddaughter to Destin for a short vacay. This property was perfect for us. It was private with gated access so it felt safe and exclusive. The view was decent as we could see the main pool and parts of the beach. The pool and beach access was so convenient and just what we needed. The location was convenient to restaurants and stores. I would definitely stay here again.

There was only 1 working elevator our entire stay. Made it hard to get out at 10 am. That 1 elevator could have been cleaned more frequently. The plugs in the second bedroom and bathroom would only work intermittently. I had to work from my computer in the common area. It also smelled like an older home whenever walking in initially. Also the instructions could have been more simplistic. It would be a good thing if the bathrooms and kitchen were updated as well as the master bed. It was freezing cold during the daytime and hot overnight. I was unable to control the temperature. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. The condo was clean. The owners were very quick to respond.

The resort and amenities were fantastic — beautiful location, gorgeous beach, great pool, well-equipped gym, and even pickleball courts. The condo layout was perfect for four adults, and we loved having plenty of space.That said, a few things could be improved. The rug is due for replacement, and the bedrooms tend to run warm in the evenings when the doors are closed.Our trip overall was wonderful, but if we could do it again, we would rent directly through Compass Rentals. Before our stay, I emailed the owner a few times about renting beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler. The responses I received were generic Google search links to local rental companies. What I wasn’t told — and only learned upon arrival — is that non-resort umbrellas aren’t allowed. The resort rents chairs and umbrellas at a steep rate (70–120 per day for 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas, which adds up to around 500 extra for a week). When booking through Compass Rentals, 2 chairs and 1 umbrella are included in the package at no extra charge, and their condo rental rates are comparable or less. Overall, we had a great stay and loved the property — just wish we’d known about the chair and umbrella policy before booking.

My feet got dirty walking around the condo. I hate dirty feet. I vacuumed four times and have pictures to show the enormity of the issue. I bought a wet jet and mopped twice--have pictures of the dirty pads. [the mop there was molded] I bought cleaner and disinfectant for the shower, countertops, and sinks. There was hair in the bathroom drawers, but that was not terrible. I did have to buy hand soaps, dishwasher detergent, and trash bags as well. I'm not OCD, but I like things to be clean. The bed linens were fine. But we enjoyed the beach, the facilities, the quietness, and the location. We had friends that owned a place in one of the beachfront buildings, so I picked that property. It just needs to be cleaned. I would have the carpets cleaned before the owner uses the space for certain. This will not prevent us from renting there again.

Great property and wonderful experience

This is our first time staying in Destin and it couldn't have been better. The location of the condo was great. It was a gated community which we loved. The condo had exactly the view I expected and looked just like it was described. My only complaint was a lack of key fobs to get around the community. They only had 2 and we could have used 3 or 4. Small problem to have. Fantastic pools, hot tubs and access to the beach.

Silver Shells Beach Resort

We've been vacationing in the Santa Rosa to Destin area for 30 years, renting houses and condos at various locations depending on the size of our party. The resort is great resort in a central location for all of our vacation needs. The condo we rented had great TVs, comfortable beds and new appliances. Beyond that it was below average.

Great stay!

clean , spacious place! Perfect for those with smaller children who need to be able to run around vs a hotel room. Only down fall is from the pictures of be ordering condo, I was lead to believe that once. I walked out of our condo we would be onto the beach, that there was an indoor pool, and the outlet was right beside us. Other than that, great stay!

I love the whole place had everything I needed, only thing that was wrong spiders seem to be around we killed 3 one was on my leg smh. The tub had a dirty ring around it as if it had been used and not cleaned after the other first left but to my understanding 7/29/21 was the 1st day. So I should’ve been the 1st stay. So I hope the tub wasn’t dirty this long ewww. The cover and pillows were dirty had spots on the which made us think that they were all dirty. We pulled the sofa bed out and it had crumbs all in it. We found and empty Dasani bottle under the bed in the 2nd room. I asked if about wristbands before arriving and I was told that the place doesn’t use wristbands. But they do. For the amount of money I paid they could’ve cleaned the it better as well as brought new pillows If necessary. COVID IS REAL CLEAN YOUR PROPERTY AFTER EVERY STAY! YOU DON’T WANNA BE THE REASON SOME CATCH’S COVID. Don’t just do it for the money smh
