There was no check in information sent to me before getting to the property. Checkin was at 4 and could not get into property without calling guest services once getting to the guard shack. Had to call the management company guest services to get into property. The recliner in the property was broken upon arrival and the unit we ended up in did not appear nearly as nice as any of the pictured units when booking. This is my first bad experience using expedia, i want to say the issue lies more so with avari the property management company than with expedia but i was not happy overall.

The check in process was quick & easy. Sandpiper Cove itself was a great little place. Beach access was easy to get to, the property was pretty to walk, pickle ball courts were nice, the guards were all polite. But I’d never stay in this unit again. The unit upstairs was either hosting 10 kids who didn’t sleep or were remodeling the entire time we were there. The banging started right around 6 am and went on each day until roughly 8 pm. There were things that we photographed immediately when we arrived - dirty walls, dirty couch, refrigerator handle broken, outlet in the bathroom off of the wall, the locks are both broken. It was a great trip for us, but this property was a definite let down.

ROOM WAS COLD UPON ARRIVAL, COULD NOT GET THE HEATER ON SO I CALLED IT TOOK ABOUT 20 MINUTES TO GET SOMEONE TO ANSWER, BUT THEY CAME AND GOT US COMFORTABLE.

Not good! First impression was good. Staff at the guard shack coming in and out were very nice and helpful. Property on the outside was nicely maintained. Walking into our condo the smell of urine and mustiness hit us in the face. The bedding was dirty and I had to vacuum sand off of it. I removed the dirty bedding and the mattress cover has what looked and smelled like urine stains all over it. We contacted the company and was told to wash the bedding which we would have to pay for and take time from our vacation doing. We went out and bought bedding. I dropped my phone between the bed and the wall. When getting my phone there was a disgusting mess down there. I’m not sure if it was a used condom or what it was. And it was filthy. The floors made the bottoms of our feet black and sticky. We used a wet towel to try and clean a walking path and the white towel was completely black from the dirty floor. The TV didn’t work the whole time we were there. We contacted the company and two days later they sent someone with an HDMI cord that didn’t work because there was no box to hook it to. We had to hang the dirty blanket over the windows because you could see through them from the outside because the blinds were so thin. The windows and sliding glass door had big cracks in them. Some of the lights did not work. There is no staff onsite for the place we had rented. The trip would have been flawless but the costumer service and dirty room that we had ruined it.

Nice place but very poor communication. Was told the room was ready before it actually was. Vacasa’s team came in and brought needed supplies quickly but was a bit frustrating at first. The condo itself was nice, clean, and quiet. Would recommend.

This condo was great. Was very clean and provided all the necessaries. Walk to private beach. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely visit again.

Unit was not clean. We used an entire container of Clorox wipes and every surface left the wipes visibly dirty. Half the lights throughout the unit were burned out. The location is very loud from road noise and old windows. Upon booking, I chose beach view as the “room” option. This unit is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. There is no angle from which you’d be able to view the beach. We’ve stayed in this complex before and will return because we like it, but I’ll only book a specific unit in the future rather than selecting a room type and hoping the unit is as described.

The unit was old and runner down. Sticky notes telling you how to make sure the toilet flushes, which switch operates specific lights. Needs a huge upgrade.

A few minor hiccups, but overall a wonderful experience for a mom and 2 teens. Gate staff were amazing! 10 min walk to the beach from our condo which was near the back of the property. Quiet, safe and friendly community with locals and tourists alike.

Appartement très bien placé au sein d’une résidence avec plage privée. La localisation est top, la propreté de l’appartement également. Mon regret est qu’il est notifié pour 6 personnes et que le canapé lit était vraiment inconfortable et vieillissant. Sinon franchement c’était top !👍
