「The house was perfect for our family reunion from grandparents to as young as 9 years old. The home was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and grill for our family while we enjoyed our days boating on the lake. We had a great time and my parents loved having the whole family together. Highly recommend!」

「We've stayed for a week at Doug and Lucy’s place in June 2025. We had a really great time, enjoyed everything. Mostly spent time on the lake - swimming, kayaking, fishing. Kids had fun at the beach and playgrounds at the Elrod Ferry Recreation Area, which is just a few minutes drive down the road. Groceries and shopping (Walmart and ALDI) are less than 10 minutes away. Overall, a very nicely located quiet place on the lake. Will definitely try to come back next year.」

「This is a very old property, so make sure you understand that going in. To us it was the classic "lake house" experience. Fabulous view of the lake from a large screened porch. A short boat ride to many of the main places you'd like to visit for food or drinks. Comes well appointed with everything you need for your stay. 「The location for this rental was perfect. My father and I stayed here for a 4 day fishing trip and enjoyed it immensely. House was very clean and had great AC, but kitchen can be scarce so if you decide to do a lot of cooking I would bring what you need. The woods surrounding the property are gorgeous, I always enjoyed the walk down to the dock. I would note its a bit steep and some of the steps are loose so be careful. 「Our son was married at Enchanted Acres in Greenwood, SC. The Lakefront Estate allowed us to enjoy the company of 16 Family and Friends for the nights extending from the night before the rehearsal & dinner to the Wedding and Brunch the next day. There were 6 bedrooms and 5-1/2 baths which worked well for our party of 16. The Estate has everything you need from a large family room with tables to play games and a well equipped kitchen.
