“We took a long weekend and stayed at The Lake House for the first time. This is a wonderful place. Peaceful and quiet, we enjoyed listening to the birds and watching the water. It was clean and comfortable and felt like home. Highly recommend!”

“Two couples on our 70's stayed for two nights in June. Communication was great, .with Diana andwering all of our detailed questions. Checkin was easy. The facility and setting was as described: clean, very well supplied and charming. Our favorite feature was the shaded patio overlooking the Shell Rock river. The deck above was not as impressive. A steakhouse and pub are witin easy walking distance. A walking path along the river leads to a nice park and war memorial. Some of us attended water……

“The property was well maintained and decorated in a cozy and comfortable manor. Location was perfect! Easy route to downtown or UNI, butost importantly - walking distance to my daughter's house. Accomodations were perfect for our 5 adults and two kids. Upstairs with the two double beds was perfect for the family. We will definitely choose to stay here again the next time we visit.”
