「 My wife and I had been traveling for weeks. We stopped at this cabin just outside the town of Puerto Jimenez looking for a peaceful change of pace from some hectic and overly commercial hotels. We were delighted to find true Costa Rican hospitality and beautiful scenery that felt like a spiritual awakening. Last month we dealt with "congestion pricing" in NYC, but here it was like an emotional cleansing. We encountered a local couple whose family have been farming the land for generations....

「Our 3 families rented all three homes in this very special place! We love being close to nature & the homes were so unique & surrounded by nature. Orlando is an excellent host & we met others working on the newest home which looks spectacular too! All homes were clean, well appointed with the special touches of fresh flowers, plenty of extras & very comfortable. Orlando arranged a chef to prepare our dinners -5 stars to Chef Jimmy! 「What a marvelous time we had immersed in the open life between this beautiful beach and wild mangrove river. The host went above and beyond to arrange our desired trips kayaking, exploring Corcovado, enjoying the Gulf, massages, birding, and suggesting options for food experiences. He even suggested the shuttle from San Jose and the hotel to use there as well. Know that Punta Preciosa is remote. It is wild. It is 25 minutes by taxi to town, so come prepared with food and your desired beverages....
