“We loved our entire experience at Carton House. The food was amazing, the room was impeccably clean, the scenery was incredibly beautiful, and my husband loved the golf! We had a picnic on the grounds which was a highlight. The staff was all very friendly and made consistent effort to help us out when we had inquiries. We brought out 10 month old baby with us and were able to take her for walks around the grounds and bring her to all the restaurants without feeling like she was a burden, thanks……

“Beautiful room and hotel. Gorgeous grounds to walk on. Had everything you needed. Comfortable bed and linens. Huge room and comfortable sitting chairs. Staff courteous and friendly. I will definitely stay here again. ”

“Great hotel with a good vibe. Arrived in the afternoon and sat in the courtyard with live music playing. Great location, only downside was trying to find the entrance, I think it needs a little more explanation , you actually drive through a public car park to access theirs!”

“Just a lovely place to stay with great staff and friendly atmosphere. This is a “proper” castle - built 900 years ago. We ate at one of the restaurants and had a lovely meal. Gardens have several walks including a long walk through local woods which we enjoyed. ”

“My wife and I did a small tour of Ireland on a motorbike we stayed here for the last night we asked if we could put the motorbike somewhere safe and they accommodated us very well from the front of staff to the maintenance guy Paul and the night porter they was all brilliant to say the least the room was immaculate the pizza in the bar was probably one of the best we have ever had the Guinness was top notch and the bar staff was superb this is a super place to stay if you are in the area we will……
