“Needed a little get-away not too far from home. This little cottage is perfect in so many ways. It's in a quiet, private neighborhood. Parking is convenient with circular drive. Don't skip the history of the area and home in the welcome notebook. We fell in love with the Crab Orchard Stone on the house. Ended up going to a stone yard and getting some scrap pieces for our garden at home! The cabin has everything you need for a couple of days. Very comfy common area with big TV, nice views out the……

“Did not ever speak to host. Never needed to. Place was very dirty. Smelled like dog. Ceramic floor in kitchen and living room look like it’s never been swept if moped. I washed the bedding before we slept on them. Was scared to sit on couch due to uncleanliness. Would never stay there again”

“Great place for short stay! Clean affordable house and attentive host.”

“We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Maxwells Getaway. The condo was the perfect size and place for us to stay while visiting relatives in The Glade. The entire condo was super clean. The bed was so comfortable! Kitchen was well stocked. Parking was right outside the door. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the squirrels and chipmunks! Elizabeth is a super host and responds very quickly. We definitely will plan to stay here again!”

We ended up stopping in the road and shining a bright flashlight to see the address in black on the front of the house. Motion lights did come on after we pulled in but went off before we could see to get in. The toilet paper was so thin that……
