「It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. WiFi is only at the main house and had bring being our own bedding, that was unclear on this site… but on the main website it’s much more clear. Thanks again! If I ever...

「Bass Camp is a beautiful lake front property! The house was perfect for our family of ten. We especially liked the 3 master bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Other features we enjoyed were the large beautiful deck overlooking the lake, the hot tub, the fire pit (which we used most nights), and the dock where we had our rental pontoon boat so we could be out on the lake most days.Check-in was easy and the owner was easy to work with, always answering questions promptly.A great vacation spot on...

「Great place to stay. Never a dull moment. The kids had a great time. Did not need to bring anything. We found 3 buckets of toys/legos!! The bunks were a huge hit. The adults loved the hot tub and fire pit. 」

「Great place to stay for the night, located very close to downtown Davis and Blackwater falls! It was cozy and just what we needed. The only thing that could be improved is the water temperature of the shower is very tempermental, as in you have to get it exactly in the right spot or its too hot or too cold. This is minor but something to note. We would definitely stay here again. The hostest was very responsive and I would give her 10 stars if possible. Thanks! 」

「What fun we all had! The indoor pool was definitely a highlight for us! kids of all ages were able to enjoy the game room and spend quality time in and around the lake. The use of 2 large refrigerators and 2 dishwashers made cooking and clean up a breeze. 」

「My family spent the weekend here. We absolutely loved this place. Very cozy and private. We spent more time around the fire pit than we did at the actual lake. The view of the lake from the fire pit was so calming and peaceful. The dock was very cool. The host was welcoming and accommodating and very easy to reach if you need. We would stay here again for sure. Even my pups loved the private yard Thank you to the host!」

「Great spot, very cool cabin! Convenient to many great locations: Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob etc. Only downside was that the neighbors down the road are a little loud. The gravel road in got a bit washed out in the storm, so 4WD is recommended」

「Everything was fantastic. We had an amazing time Every day after a wonderful day of hiking and boating on and around the lake, we looked forward to returning to our red cottage by the lake. The grill was fantastic. The hot tub was amazing. The house was fully stocked, with everything we needed. 」

The Pea Pod had everything you would need for an enjoyable stay and then some! The hosts were so accommodating and very quick to answer questions about the area as we were first time visitors.
