「We only stayed one night in Angouleme and this was the perfect base! Gorgeous room, comfy bed, large bathroom with lovely shower and perfect location to walk to the centre. We drove and parked in Les Halles car park (just a few min walk from the apartment), I did see a few reviews saying this was tight but we found it fine with our SUV. Reasonably priced too. Also really appreciated the lovely coffee machine in the room! 」

「This house was everything that we’d hoped for and more. After a long drive we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived… the house itself is wonderful and so well equipped with everything you can imagine you would need. But the highlight for us was the outside space, having breakfast on the terrace, bbq in the evening and spending time in the lovely pool. 「Maison très agréable et très au calme avec grand jardin (trop tôt dans la saison pour profiter de la piscine mais elle faisait envie !).Juste un point a noter : la cuisine est un peu juste peut-être surtout si vous êtes 12 (nous étions 5) avec un four un peu juste. Mais si vous êtes en pleine saison, il y a plancha et barbecue !」

「Pros: Loved the space and decor of the house. Beautiful garden and pool with 2 lovely terraces. Very private and quiet but close to town centre and amenities. Cons: Pool was very chlorinated. Do not wear silver jewellery while swimming! An outdoor shower by the pool would be good. A shortage of mugs!」
