Hampton Inn by Hilton Troy
4/10 Poor
"When we first arrived there was only one check-in person w a line of people checking in and some one trying to purchase a sundry item. The first room they gave us had a broken air conditioner and food and drinks that was left in the refrigerator. We had to pack up to move down the hot humid hallway but at the least the room was cool and clean. The rooms are definitely dated. I definitely expected more from a Hampton Inn and now owned by Hilton. This felt like a budget hotel."

Best Western Troy Inn

"Breakfast was a hot, full well flavored and cooked breakfast, including scrambled egg & sausage."

Home2 Suites By Hilton Troy, Al
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, great staff, fantastic rooms! Only downside was the shortage of options during breakfast, BUT that was partially on us for getting to it in the middle of their breakfast time rather than closer to the begging of it, also due to a huge demand while there was a school sports team waiting to get on their bus. A LOT of hungry teen boys is understandably hard to keep up with. Lol... Would stay again if it's along our path while traveling."

Days Inn by Wyndham Troy

"Bugs in many rooms, stained sheets it was horrible the only thing was the front desk employee was very nice."

Baymont by Wyndham Troy
4/10 Poor
"The door had massive stains on the outside and the curtains had what looked like blood or rust tains that you could see from outside the room looking in. There were personal belongings sticking out from the bed and chair from the previous guest and there was dirt and mildew around the tub and toilet. The TV didn’t work, and the housekeeper woke me up at 9am the first day and then after yelling I’m ok and to come back the second day 4 times they still came in the room while I was sleeping. I admit I forgot the do not disturb sign twice but 9am is a bit early for a room not checking out that day. The housekeeper was very nice and very friendly and so was the front desk person. The quality of the rooms and property were gross though."

Quality Inn University Area
2/10 Terrible
"Front entrance is good as most hotels are. Rooms have paint and ceiling falling, mold in shower, mold on walls by sink, electrical plugs are extremely old and worn out. They barley hold anything in them. Electrical covers missing from plugs which is a risk of kids or someone electrocuting themselves, main metal support that holds roof up is completely rusted out, surprisingly it has not falling and hurt or killed someone. Shower has holes in plastic walls where I'm sure water is running in and creating mold behind walls. I booked a double queen bed and they have full size beds they are passing off as queen size. Ac had to be set to 66° just to keep it somewhat cool in the room. The pool was the only clean part of the hotel. This place need a contractor to do MAJOR work, NOT the landlords handle man special. Caulking does NOT fix everything! Instead of Priding yourself on the hot breakfast of microwave bacon and powder scramble eggs, save that 40$ it cost and start doing the major Renovations your hotel needs. You charge on the top end of normal hotel prices when you should only be charging 35$ a night with how bad your rooms, and hotel is. You want more guests to stay, then fix the place and all the issues. If you treat your hotel like a Crackhead then expect the guests to do the same!"
