“room was exactly as pictured. Room was quite cold until a couple hours in until the small space heater started to make a change. Hard to navigate where the unit is in the winter since it is dark by 5pm. Needs a more descriptive check in instructions for the sake of checking in when it is night time. Friendly farm cats that greeted me upon arrival. peaceful in the daytime.”

“Joe is a superb host--very friendly and helpful without intruding and accommodating when we unexpectedly needed a key for the cottage.The place was clean and bright and had what we needed for lots of cooking and eating there. Some rentals are sterile, and this had color and decor that made it feel warm.Our favorite feature is the little seating area outside. We enjoyed it multiple times. The one downside: the bathroom situation. Other people have mentioned it, and we dealt with it, but I didn't……

House was clean and tidy, spacious with a garden that the kids enjoyed and comfy beds.Shower pressure was weak but overall we enjoyed the house and would recommend. Great location to enjoy the full range of the monterey Bay Area as well as local shops, although the house is well stocked with amenities ”
