“Not only is Blackbird well designed it is nicely decorated. Although not a large cottage it was cozy and met our needs.”

It's near Arthur's Pass railway station and was not positively surprised with the amount of train traffic late at night and early morning, not ideal for light sleepers. Surroundings are stunning though especially with the fresh snow on the mountains. Walking distance to the village.”

This was peaceful and quiet retreat close to the city with all the amenities you could want: trampoline, hot tubs, sauna, covered outdoor space for cooking, well-stocked kitchen, even friendly farm animals.
